Both Ainz and Rimuru are insanely careful planners that are way to cautious. Their key difference is their attitude. Ainz has to act like a supreme ruler as thats what his subordinates want while Rimuru acts casual most of the time as everyone is cool with it.

If the magic used in Nazarick hold different properties, the magic nullification and immunities of rimeru and crew may be obsolete.
Ultimately it would be up how the laws of each of their universes interact. and of course the writer.
Then the same goes the other way around too, tho.

Nothing like that ever came close to touching Ainz, even against his weakness, Shalltear, who had every advantage against him. He busted out pay to win items and killed her. And god knows how many of those he has.

Under the right circumstances Hinata could totally beat ainz.

In the evileye bonus novel Ainz was also ambushed with similar situation by a dragon lord and almost died in his first fight with it, so ainz is not untouchable as you think he is.

Pandora's actor can only attain 80% of the stats of the person he is copying and cant replicate all their abilities.
Also you have not taken into account all the World items and Pay to win items Ainz has available. The closest he had to losing was against Shalltear so far and she still got destroyed.
So folks with adaptive magic by magical molecules vs a stagnated magic that slowly overcame a natural system after hundreds of years. On paper the adaptive magic system wins, since it would grow and over take the other one with ease.
There are more factors involved. If you want some kind of example irl, old as shit,vacum tube filled powerful radars(literally 50's tech) burning through multibeam agile(read this as adaptative) radar countermeasures just because the old shit doesn't care about such puny interference.

Interesting example, honestly only see the main threat to the slime team if the all life is death(since usually bypass anything to kill, but a stupid long cool off for the trade off, expecting a cash item to reuse this skill), if the system's skill doesn't get overridden by a powerful force due to magicules.
I imagine that they just exist side-by-side without issue since Magicules are a type of matter and Mana/MP is a type of energy. Would be similar to how Wild Magic, Martial Arts, and Talents exist alongside Tier Magic in Overlord as they're all different things, utilize different fuel sources, and operate on different principles. Talents being innate/genetic abilities or passive that cost nothing to use, martial arts are learned abilities powered by mental stamina, wild magic is genetic and is powered by souls/soul energy, and tier magic is learned and powered by manna energy produced and stored within a person's body. I don't see any incompatibilities with adding free floating environmentally available Magicule molecules to the mix. Skills though might not work as it would require an intelligent universal reality shaping/governing system to create and distribute them.

Yup on the event stage, auto repeat is just for the last stage, and it's limited only 20 tries/day. Other stage don't have auto repeat featured 😅.
i would really like to see a LN with multiple isekaied characters with well balanced stats while keeping intact their personality :
lets just say that rimuru (LN) is more powerful than ainz (LN) , but the schemer is without absolute doubt ainz , cz he doesnt have any help from Ultimate skill Raphael ( LN version , wont mention name so u wont get spoild ) so every plan he comes up with from its structure to the execution ,
another aspect is that rimuru is living an "easy" talking no jutsu life , where he can just come up with some recipe and feed it or an otherwordler idea and +1 friend or like overpower whoever comes after him and that's it .
Ainz on the other hand has to deal with almost everything staying cool all the time and playing the overlord supreme ruler persona never breaking character and always keep his guard not to say something that can expose his true self , oh and have i mentioned that all his Guardians are almost as strong and others even more than him ?! he still kinda inside the game so he did hit his max level max stats , the only way to compensate for this balance is to carefully plan and intercept possible problems before the situation actually develops into a "problem" of sorts .
most important aspect is that Ainz is absolutely brutal
Rimuru on the other hand is still naive most of the time and only hits in retaliation/revenge
when Ainz actually massacres and destroys whatever and whomever comes his way or looks at his subordinates funny .
Don't matter rimuru has more hax more ap and dp that's a fact this slime may be naive but Raphael has it cover it's a reason she put in debates with rimuru lmao don't get me started on true dragon rimuru or his ultimate slime form

Anime Rimuru has an 2A/H1B feat with unlimited imprisonment alone and he has the principles of water, wind and space (veldora) inside him + has Soul Manipulation. Anime Rimuru is easily L1A/ 1A with Anime only feats. If we take the cosmology and power system information from Ln (is just Better explained) he has H1A+ feats

Unique skills like unlimited imprisonment create an amount of infinite conceptual spaces where each layer is separated from each other and it negates all hax, powers… + it can contain true dragons whos passive aura can erase worlds 1A+ constructs.
Or diablos World of temptation that creates a world/ infinite personal realm where he is nigh omnipotent and can do anything even say magic, life, death, skills,… don’t exist.

It's not fanmade nor canon too. Just side story that doesn't impact the canon story.
Makes sense. The way Narbarel interacts with Shalltear and Albedo doesn’t really seem to work for Overlord. It does though for a game or for something where what matters more is character popularity.

And grasp heart only works against "material" beings not "spiritual". Also ainz doesn’t have NPI, IM2, layared soul manipulation, acausality and many more factors.

none of Ainz's insta kill spells would work on any of them. They are all either semi of fully spiritual beings and can survive while their body is dead. Also, most of them possess an Ultimate Skill which can counter Ainz. He is legit the weakest in that room, lmao.
@@RTOmega TGOALID kills everything affected, it ignores any and all resistances, and when cast on aoe instant death magic like cry of the banshee, it kills even the air, so that any living thing that entered the area even after the fact would die as well, if Ainz wasn't undead the aftermath of his spell in s1 ep 12 would've killed him, Rimuru has more firepower, 100%, but nah he's gone, and if he infuses it into the spell True Death, it becomes very difficult to revive him, LN Rimuru is a different story altogether

Overlord wins hands down. On paper everyone can beat overlord from rimuru to bugs bunny.
But Overlord is a strategist. He never engages in battle based off his own strength. In other words, Overlord has already won the battle before it even starts.
I believe part of that is he absurdly high luck stat which I understand why people overlook it. Luck is hard to quantify.
Again if we are looking at just pure paper stats, anyone with higher numbers will win against him. But when taking strategy into the equation, it’s beats raw strength every time.
and who said tensura just raw strength ? while rimuru has raphael who can calculate entire battle scenario in a sec or less, as she capable of computing is beyond quantum computer, which ainz def on thats level. not to mention they also can read your mind budy...
I wonder who would win if they fought, Ainz being the peak of his world's magic while also being able to use death magic or Rimuru a demon lord who has Beelzebub that can devour/absorb magic

Probably Rimuru, both are powerful but Ainz needs time to cast his more powerful spells while Rimuru is considerably faster, due to all of Rimuru’s resistances and immunities plus his insane regeneration Ainz’s death magic is unlikely to work and as mentioned Rimuru’s Beelzebub pretty much neutralises everything Ainz’s has to throw at him.
@@Andrew-Bastin Ainz can greatly shorten his casting time by using shop items and having said shop items he can also change his class when needed whilst maintaining his max level. Plus if he were to truly go up against Rimuru he would first learn magic that would counter against Rimuru and plan strategies to effectively defeat him. Like how Hinata used Astral Bind and Disintegration. Plus he had one member of the former guild who was a slime himself so that also gives him an idea how to defeat Rimuru. Rimuru is also (I think) not very adept with holy magic. In truth I think Shuna would be the best firepower Rimuru would have since she has more superior holy magic compared to adalman. Obviously thinking that someone would defend her.
That would require prep-time which is something Rimuru can take advantage of as well and Rimuru is unique among slimes and doesn’t share any of their vulnerabilities. Also while Rimuru’s skills in holy magic is limited, his fire magic skills are on another level which is also a weakness of Ainz, even then Ainz isn’t invulnerable to other forms of attack and his durability and healing options aren’t on Rimuru’s level.
So with prep-time Ainz could hold his own and Rimuru would have the clear advantage.
idk man, end game Rimuru is Multi-versal level of threat via Void God, Azathoth as he can destroy 1000 worlds in one shot. Ainz will not top that yet until his novel end.
