I've transported 2 boats here this past month, and I love seeing the beautiful boats in the yard. And a big shout out to the guys that run the lift, friendly, hard working guys that really care about being careful. See y'all again soon! It's nice to know there are builders out there that truly care about quality, craftsmanship as well as making sure each vessel is unique. Love your boats and as others have said below - I'm sure they aren't cheap but these are truly amazing custom vessels. I'd be honored to captain one at some point in my life. I could only imagine how well they handle.
Thanks Preston - The Jarrett Bay Boatworks facility and the Hatteras plant are about 40 miles apart. We are not involved with them in any new construction capacity but due to our proximity and as one of the largest, most capable service yards on the East Coast, we are an authorized upfit and service center for Hatteras & Cabo Yachts. Our brokerage partners, Bluewater Yacht Sales (previously Jarrett Bay Yacht Sales) are new boat dealers for Hatteras, Cabo, Jarrett Bay, Viking, etc.
I fished on a charter boat many years ago and the captains name was Randy Ramsey and he was just a kid that I was told he was not old enough to have his captains license yet. I can’t remember where exactly where we left harbor it could have been Harkers Island or that area I do remember passing by close to a lighthouse. The weather was rough and only a few boats went out that morning and everyone on the boat got sick except me and captain Randy yes even the first mate got sea sick. When we were making our way back in I climbed up the ladder and I saw the sign that said no one allowed on the bridge except for the captain but captain Randy saw me and he let me sit with him all the way back in. I never forgot that trip and I have often wondered about that young man and if he might still be taking people out fishing and I think he may be the same Randy Ramsey in this video presentation I guess I’ll never know...
That’s awesome Jarrett Bay makes the most beautiful boats on the water. Captain Randy Ramsey you did good sir I am proud to have fished with you. When I see a Jarrett Bay boat it will have a little more meaning knowing part of your story. Thanks
Fished with Capt Britt on Hull#1 back in October, sweet ride that catches a lot of fish. We only saw two other boats that day, both Jarrett Bays (Bill Collector and Welder’s Ark) .
Owning this boat would be awesome.... but that doesn't mean I am opposed to another boat. I would love to fish one of these.... but that doesn't mean I wouldn't fish another type. Beautiful boats!!!
Incredible boats! How have the conditions off the North Carolina coast influenced the development of the "carolina bow" shape that most premium sportfish convertible builders now use?
My lottery boat for sure! I've always been puzzled how the great boats like the Rybos with all the wood don't have rot issues like the fiberglass boats???
See the page on Jarrett Bay's website titled "Rugged Construction" under the "Why Jarrett Bay" menu for an explanation of how NC's sometimes treacherous seas gave rise to the "Carolina Flare" that Jarrett Bay has helped to innovate & continues to refine.
yes, marlin can be a food source particularly in poorer/developing countries. The vast majority of marlin caught during recreational fishing are released. Fish that are killed during tournaments are typically donated to local food banks and/or research.
wow...oho..what a beauty. Nice work well done....If u need one old italian engineer for free..aha..would like to spend the rest of my life into that..:) ciao best best regards
Since Buddy Davis is no longer in business, JB is right up there at the top of the most beautiful sportfishers on the planet. Which of course are all Carolina Customs.
Different boat and builder bearing the same name - An older, custom Carolina boat named Waste Knot sunk off the OBX last year. It was NOT the 67' Jarrett Bay called Waste Knot.
Every Jarrett Bay boat is a one-of-a-kind undertaking and the pricing is highly dependent on an owner's wishes and customizations. If you would like more information on pricing, please contact VP Tate Lawrence at 252-728-2690
Great fan of your channel. I was just wondering if it is possible to modify custom fishing boats for a large animal. I am considering modifying my boat to have a kind of pen for my donkey. I was wondering if there you need much consideration for carrying a large animal and what kind of things do you need to think about in terms of drainage (ie. plumbing/waste etc).
Jealous? Other names for donkeys: asses and communist democrats. Sounds like you would like everyone to have a boat too, along with welfare and other handouts? I love my large boat that you cannot afford. Yes, if you have to make comments like the one made, you cannot afford these boats. I pay an ungodly amount of money for fuel, and maintenance. I have a very large house that i keep the boat behind in a community that you cannot get into. I am enjoying my life and you can go ride your ass.
red rover what a weird comment. I wasn't meaning to be political at all. All I was asking is how to customize a boat for a large animal. I don't need much space for the donkey. I just want him for a bit of bum action every now and then. You have to bring all this political crap into this discussion. Weird.

I dream to one day when I'm older own one and be able to use one of these through some of the worlds richest tournaments!😏
Your boats are one of the best but one of my questions is are u and hatteras involved with each other because I know several people who say I
didnt that boat ,, Waste Knot,, sink on the show wicked tuna?

@@JarrettBay I go to the OBX every summer, and I'm 10 and very much pleased with the carolina flare bow design you have on all of your boats.
How much would a 58 foot boat cost brand new?

Do people actually eat Marlins? Or do they just catch and release?
da7nesman the eat marlin in many countries mostly 3 world countries.
That's awesome!!!!!
have to respect the passion
DREAM BOAT!!!!
It would be even more inspirational if they would give me one for free.
+jnandreas if you want it for free you probably couldnt afford to use it.
I couldn't agree more
To fill the tank would probably cost me a month or two's pay!
cool
it's never good when a boat sinks but at least it's not one of yours.
i can't buy because i need 2 dollars more.
Too bad you have to be a millionaire to afford one. Maybe one day I'll get a better job and I can buy one. They look bad ass!
I'll work for you for free if I can have one of those boats completely custom. I'll live on that boat.
U are
