Awesome video man I’m literally about to disassemble my 880 short block full roller. Just had my flat tappet block just eat a lifter after 15 mins of running weird because it was an old cam and lifters but apparently it didn’t like something. No way I’m risking running a flat tappet with the way that’s going. So thanks for the video got the same set up as you got the provision just isn’t the whole way thru.
@@ms_m3170 yes sorry for the confusion. It is a half inch rod., so went to half-inch, made sure there was enough clearance for oil to get around the rod by running the sandpaper in the hole. I hope it works out engines and back in storage now.

So did you ended up using that 1/2 inch drill bit to open up the hole more?
