This is only the second Tamiya kit that l have completed. The first was the Honda CB 750 F. Both kits went together well and looked superb but l must confess my first preference has always been Airfix and some of them can really be quite challenging. Enjoy your modelling my friend. Professor Ken.
How Lucky you were 'Ken20'.... 'Tamiya' kits are quite easy and Quite detailed for what is in the box... and glad that Everything was in da box!! Well, done on the build and paint job....Just a question, is the 'Airfix'' Tiger tank the same scale???
I sure was lucky and your comments about Tamiya are correct. I must admit that l prefer Airfix kits as they are more challenging and also because they were my first kits way back in the 1950's. The CHIEFTAIN TANK is 1:35 and the TIGER TANK is 1:72. Many thanks for visiting and C.U.SOON. Professor Ken.
@@ken-vc8bf I see that you are a "Professor".... a Professor in what subject?? I am a former Science teacher of Jr-High level ( ages 11 - 14) and retired teaching High-School kids ( ages 15 - 18 ), teaching Biology, Chemistry, Marine Biology, a little Astronomy and a little Physics.
@@Hey_MikeZeroEcho22P Like you l taught general science in the lower school and chemistry and maths in the upper school. Professor was a nickname that was bestowed on me many years ago and it has stuck. Regards. Professor Ken.
The CHIEFTAIN TANK was the MBT ( main battle tank ) of the British army from the 1960's until the 1990's. A superb machine in all respects. Regards. Professor Ken.
You are totally correct. It says Mk 5 on the box but l never believed that. Me l was in the Royal Artillery using the good old 25pdr field guns. Thanks for your comment it is much appreciated. Professor Ken.
