Your editing and filmography skills are really proffesional. Commentary style spot on as well. You might as well be sponsored by the Scottish Government, because this has really brought these less-known but yet gorgeous sites into the light. Brilliant vlog!
Fantastic report my friend, I spent a day at Corrour last summer, beautiful weather, I walked to Loch Ossian hostel and a few other paths, had dinner in the station itself, what an area, just beautiful, thanks for the memory 👍
Let’s go Suzie!! Another absolutely amazing video mate, it has a real ‘adventure’ feel to it. Your voiceovers are top notch and your editing is incredible. Keep up the great work!!
Well, having watched several of your shorts I had to verify the configuration of my device as this looked like a Long Short. I was pleasantly surprised, I live in Glasgow and use the West Highland a lot. There are ample films on TH-cam about Corrour (including my own) and I think your take on it, driving from Aberdeen via Kinloch Rannoch added a dimension which I found very tantalising. I adore your use of vocabulary, by the way, I have already said in previous comments to your Shorts that you have tremendous skills and your editing of the film into short snappy clips is part of your style which I like. Keep at it.
Hi Clive! I really appreciate your comments and am glad that you enjoyed this slightly differently formatted video haha. Since your last comments I have taken a keen interest in your channel and have found them to be interesting and humerous too! All the best.
It's beautiful video,Scotland as you led to show is looking beautiful, especially in autumn the leaves in the mountains and valleys turning brown ,that is beautiful. The most isolated railway station in Britain you showed off is corror ,it's beautiful to see all around Scotland ,the railway track appearing enchanting the station is unique.
Genuinely, when it comes to videos about BR, they tend to not be the type of video id really want to watch. But this channel is the first where I actually don't miss an upload or short. Keep doing what your doing man, these are amazing. This is dedication if your willing to travel 6 hours for a video, again fantastic stuff.
Beautifully filmed and superbly narrated with delightfully crisp, clear diction and a charming, enthusiastic and engaging style. We'll done young sir :)
This was a great and enjoyable video.... 😊 Please keep up your adventures on the railway, it's as if we are all accompanying your on them..... Nicely done..... 😊😊😊😊
It is a stunning spot . I’ve done the same journey from Rannoch to Corrour . We went on a walk round Loch Ossian , absolutely beautiful . Arrived back at the hotel about 90 minutes before the train south and there was a fantastic atmosphere as all the walkers arrived back from their various activities . Much merriment in the bar , then as one we went over to the platform to catch the train south . Fortunately we were only going as far as Rannoch as from memory it was fairly busy with much good humour . A really fantastic experience
When younger a friend and I camped in Glen Nevis. One day we walked into Ft William and took the early train to Corrour. After a quick look at Loch Ossian we walked back through to Glen Nevis. Memorable day.
Been on that line Fort William to Glasgow twice this year and didn’t realise just how isolated Corrour station is. Great film and fantastic information, well done, best regards Chris. 🍻👍👍
If everybody is wondering why this station is so remote, Here's a history lesson. In the 1890s when the line was being constructed. The problem with the West Highlands was because most of it was very uneven ground, They have to build the lines to go around mountains in the hills to reach fort william. When they got to Corrour The land was owned by a farmer. The farmer agreed To let them Build the track that would go through his land but in return they had to build a station just for him and his people. And Of couse the farm was closed down somtime after ww1. They were at first considering shutting the station down, But seeing how it made a great passing point they desided to keep it open to thus day. They meny other remote station across the uk back in the day but they all closed down due to lack of passangers or the line being closed down in the 1960s. Making this station the very last one of its kind in britain.
Great Video - Hope you can try far North line as well this also has a few very remote stations as also has the less well known Kyle line . The far north line is interesting as although it ends at Wick you have to travel on the short branch to Thurso first but you stay on the train !
Indeed, a very interesting line that i hope to visit someday haha. I was on a Kyle Of Lochalsh bound train when going to Beauly but didn't have enough time to stick around for the 4hr journey up north. Altnabreac and Scotscalder are definitely on my bucket list!
@@OnlyTheRightTrack Thanks, If you get time there is still remaining the Station at Thrumster on the long gone branch to Lybster. The station has been restored & is a museum no charge to visit . Platform & a short bit of track remains. Platform for this line is still at Wick Station.
I stayed in the signal box for 2 nights last October, it was just wonderful and quiet. I loved sitting in the upstairs of the signal box all day taking the view in. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were just amazing.
I absolutely adore the Scottish Highlands even though I’ve never been there - it’s no wonder that Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth loved Balmoral and the Queen Mother bought the Castle of Mey (having herself being raised as a Scottish Aristocrat within the Bowes-Lyon family) 🇮🇪☘️🏴😍
Our future Prime Minister has been on his travels and produced another amazing video! Thank you for your enduring commitment to train travel kind Sir! 😃
I think someone has already been there before but I’m not telling you. A person who is on TH-cam and has visited so many railway stations across the UK. I would like to go there and I have been to Scotland before.
Steve Marsh and Scott from Planes, Trains and Everything better watch out with you up and coming at them! Easily as good as either of them! Also, for an Englishman I appreciate your pronunciation efforts.
Middle of nowhere? Hardly. That would be someplace like Ludlow, California that's tiny and isolated in itself but on a major through route between other places that are defintely *somewhere* (in its' case, Phoenix and LA). This, this is the *end* of nowhere.
Thanks very much! I have lived here for ages so i speak it often, if anything I think I subconsciously make the accent stronger in Vids when presenting to the camera lol
Your commentary skills are fantastic by the way. Loved it.

This is such a nice video bro keep it up!! 🤟
Brilliant! Great you’ve made a longer video! 👏👏👏
Glad you liked it!
You don’t have to go to Corrour to see Scottish wild life. Glasgow on a Saturday night will do..!

Love how the energy is still here even in long form. Also wow the scenery is so beautiful and the station looks so quiet
Thanks so much! The station's quietness is decieving as at least 4 other people got on or off, mostly walkers I think haha
@OnlyTheRightTrack Of course. And hey only four other people is relatively quiet I think.
I do very much enjoy this, excellent work young man!
Thanks very much, Simon! Travelling outside of the Greateranglia network, even for a bit, really shows the difference in the surroundings!
🔥video! one of my bucket list stations, id love to go one day.
Cheers! Certainly worth a visit

Well for your first longer travel vlog that was interesting and enjoyable 👍
Very good to hear! Thanks for watching!
fabulous work, this looks, sounds, and just is a great production!
Really much appreciated!
That was a great video. Quite an interesting station.
This is a very cool and interesting video about Corrour, so much so, I want to visit and go and stay in the signal box B&B! 👍🏼
I thought I recognised the station from Trainspotting! Great video, some spectacular shots and your commentary is spot on!
When Geoff and Vicky were there, they did some Trainspotting references.
Absolutely brilliant ❤
Great video! I've passed through Corrour heading up north a few times, the scenery gets me every time lol! P.S Let's go Suzie!
That sounds fabulous! The scenery really is mesmirising - even if viewed through a slightly musty window lol
Thank you. Nice presentation.
Thanks very much!
Brilliant views and great video!

Indeed so or perhaps the reason it wasn't demolished was the land agreement as is the case with Berney Arms?
Good editing, well made video, with good presentation. Not been to Rannoch for too long! You've strirred me to go back
I'd go back in a heartbeat! Truly amazing place

fair enough haha, as far as places in the UK go however, it is certainly quite isolated
What an epic video, my plaudits. The content is worthy of a bit more DWELL, as I find - please don't make me reduce to 0,75 speed.
Thanks very much, I understand. I'll try to slow it down in upcoming videos haha
@@OnlyTheRightTrack Mate, you're worth it, that was so brilliant (but quick). 🙄
What happens though if the train home doesn't turn up? Would you be stranded there overnight in the cold and rain I wonder.
Most likely lol, the shelter might come in quite useful in that scenario...

Highland cattle are a domestic bread not wildlife!
