I have always known there was a big systemic problem with the way things are run in society. Always.....I stopped attending school at 11, educated myself via libraries, etc. This was back in the 1970's. Pink Floyd saved my life when I was 15 and was totally effed up and lonesome: they made me feel like I had company :) Endless and endlessly enjoyable metaphysical practice, study, pursuits working with the arts and esoteric sciences and my nonphysical friends. I have lived on the fringe of civilization (such as it is) my whole life, and have been gradually paving the road back in, on my terms. The process is very much as you describe!
