I do want to say that this video has been scheduled for a few months, it's a ridiculous coincidence that this uploaded the day after Backlog Buster finished his solo runs.
@@daveyreetz6493 I mean, with how some of those runs went (White Mage, Bard, Berserker, etc) I totally get not wanting to potentially continue the trend more than you have to. Like Oracle would be horrible, Necromancer would mostly be pretty boring until midgame where it becomes bootleg Summoner/Black Mage, Cannoneer can't do its gimmick until the final dungeon, and Gladiator is just fishing for 9999s.
24:35 Sounds to me like the reason Vilia shows up first consistently, and why you got the 1/16 insta-death chance often, is that the RNG table resets when you quick save+load. If it wasn't triggering 100% of the time, then idk what could be calling RNG before you open fire, but it seems plausible.
The instakill thing wasn't happening every single time, but that would have been an interesting result of that. Or maybe it is that, and the enemy spawn isn't based on the same RNG as moves and stuff? I'm very ignorant about programming generally.
Man I'm glad I discovered this channel, I love in depths like this, and please tell me when you explain all of FFV you go to 6, 8 or even 3 🙏 Love your content
Sorry to say that I probably won't move away from 5, I've played very few games in this series and 5 is a great combination of short and dense so there's a lot to talk about. I will say though, FF8 looks cool, but I know I would dislike it. I at least mained Squall in dissidia, for what that's worth.
Oracle i think i can cook up something to make it not trash !Condemn just need to be buffed damage wise or give it some insane utility like Mighty Guard without needing MP just need to wait or Quick on all Party member(but need to wait even longer), Big Esuna on party member, a Big HP &MP heal as basically a delay healing after a big attack so you can get right back up. !Predict rework the naming make me think of Predicting enemy attack and counter to it which is why it now take you to a menu there you are offer many options such as is it Physical,Magical,Status? and such and after that you can end the question or continue to answer more complex thing like What party member will be hit or what element will that attack be and the more question you answered correctly the stronger the effect of the counter are but every question will cost you additional MP cost whether or not you answer it correctly. Here is some effect i can think of right now: Physical: Give a HP shield that is equal to the target HP and absorb all damage not just Physical. Answer complex question correctly to make it not able to be broken unless it at 1 HP. Magic: Damage you take will be heal by 1/3 of the damage for atleast 3 of that character turn. Answer complex question correctly will make it into 1/2. Status: Cure all status instantly even doom, zombie, old. If answer complex question correctly you will be immune to all status for 3 turns Probally Oracle will be broken now but eh it's a end game job anyway
I think that all oracles need to be good is just be able to use rods, so they have to way to use that massive magic stat because it's funny how the spells it have are weaker than the aga spells and with a timer to add salt to injury
As another idea though not a particularly great one. You did the worst job of each crystal. How about just doing the 4 worst jobs in the game regardless of which crystal they’re from even if they’re all from the same crystal. Oracle is only there to give more magic to mime than summoner. Not sure what they were going for with its abilities. Others at least have some use. If predict didn’t have strongly negative effects for your party it would be fun to randomly throw out, like metronome in Pokemon. More classes should’ve had auto statuses like necromancer. Like a floating class. Other ideas include a run where you stay in toad as constantly as you can. Or mini.
While a pretty good idea for a run, I really don't wanna do any run where I might have to use Oracle or Dancer again. Plus there's an eternal debate on whether Red Mage or Berserker are worse, or Thief and Monk, or Dancer and Dragoon, and all those jobs together just doesn't sound like something I'll get to anytime soon. I won't rule it out, but I encourage other people to try their hand at a "worst jobs" video or videos! Also if you want a Mini/Toad run, MrWright on youtube has a bunch of "beating the hardest bosses in FFV as a level 1 mini character" videos, which beats the hell out of whatever I'd try in that vein.
gonna be real, I like that you just gave yourself these jobs. that other guy who was doing runs with specific jobs was cool, but it feel pointless to play through the games until he unlocked them naturally.. like why bother doing the challenge if you're going to not use them throughout the game? isn't the point to see if you can do it with them? are you not just doing a freelancer run until the specific crystal? oh well
I figure part of it is that PR doesn't have any functional modding tools right now, so hacking the classes in might be too difficult or annoying, or he just wants to keep things vanilla, which I can respect. These jobs are definitely ones you should hack in for a run like this, though.
I just imagine Galuf firing a cannon from the airship and never joining the battle.
Wow this happening right when another ff5 youtuber journey ended and people were craving for the Advanced Job being hacked in and play lol
Nice job

Said youtuber also said he wouldn't cover this, so it's fair game.
Witch is wierd cause his ffv videos were getting 20-40k views so passing on 4 easy vids is dumb

Just when backlog buster finished his solo job series
I love this timeline
My thoughts exactly
Do the Advance jobs.
Backlog Buster: No
Suprapika: Hold my beer.
To be fair this is all the jobs at once, not one at a time like his stuff. Not like I'd want to do an Oracle only run though, hell no.
@@SuprapikaI hated Oracle when I played FF V Advance
Both series are very different and both are amazing.
22:05 my brain exploded at the realization that I can walk left of the pyramid, I don’t know why it never dawned on me either, holy crap
Thank god it's not just me

23:00 Vilia is supposed to be a witch of the woods. What she is doing in the middle of the ocean is a mystery.
Deforestation takes a toll on all of us.
Great vid! nice to see someone do these, AND from the start!

Understandable, still great content nonetheless and hope to see more from you 👍

Gladiator... dancer on steroids (gamble for big damage)?
Oh god no
Backlog buster ended ff5 series and here's another cool youtuber made THAT THING, that logbuster don't

I would rather rod break than ever deal with Condemn again.
Is galuf already dead? I can't see him!
He checked out for this run, he got a stunt double.
He dosent have a advance job sprite, he’s replaced by krile
Instant death that bypasses immunity to instance death isn't busted?
Honestly that's kinda tame for some of the instakill stuff in this game, Heavy really stuffs most of it.
@@Suprapika Ah, doesn't bypass heavy.
@@Suprapika I didn't even know there was a difference, what's immune to instant death but isn't heavy?
The best bouns class job in my opinion is Gladiator and cannoneer there both are broken and the abilities stats too wouldn't agreed 😉😉👍👍
Why would Lenna get the aquatic magic instead of Faris, her _pirate captain_ sister? Wack.
