Recipe

Step 1: Make Batter
Ingredients
* 1 cup lukewarm water
* 2 teaspoons instant yeast
* ½ teaspoon salt
* 2 tablespoons brown sugar
* 1 ¾ cup flour
* 1 bag crinkle cut french fries from the STORE!
1) Add yeast to water. Mix until foamy. Add to bowl
2) Combine all other ingredients in a large bowl. Whisk.
3) Refrigerate.
4) Bake off your french fries according to the directions on the bag.
5) Cut into little pieces and bake until crisp.
Equipment
* Large mixing bowl
* Whisk
* Sheet Pan with silpat
* Cutting board
* Knife
Step 2: Make Skewers
Ingredients
* 1 package of hot dogs
* 1 block of mozzarella cheese
* 1 packet of bacon
* Lots of chopsticks
1) Skewer the hot dogs, mozzarella cheese, and any variation of that you would like.
2) Take a hot dog and wrap it in bacon. Fry it until golden.
3) Chill it!
Equipment
* Knife
* Cutting board
* Chopsticks
* Toothpicks
* Fryer
* Spider
Step 3: Assemble
* ¼ cup sugar
* 1 cup flour
* ¼ cup ketchup
* 1 teaspoon gochugaru
* 1 teaspoon sugar
* ½ teaspoon sesame oil
* 1 tablespoon gochujang
* Fryer with fresh oil
1) Pour the batter into a glass.
2) Flour the skewers.
3) Dip the sticks into the batter.
4) Coat in fries.
5) Fry until golden brown.
6) Sprinkle with sugar.
7) Serve with gochukechup.

* Small whisk
* 3 small spoons
As a Canadian, I find it incredible that nobody is serving these with gravy and marketing them as Poutine On A Stick. (I'm now accepting franchisees.)

Ya know, watching mythical kitchen videos makes me realize there's stuff that gets CUT OUT of these videos that the editors just have to kind of sit through.

almost all production videos are like that, it's just that in GMM, they don't do any cuts because they want it pure but, it surely depends, there are cuts because of some missed lines or jokes and etc., you know the drill

번데기 is really not that tasty-it is an acquired taste... not a good idea. Maybe something Tteok related would be a better choice because of its versatility.

I have to use a catheter due to a spinal cord injury. That was the first thought that popped in my head when he was inserting the skewer.

I dont normally like cooking shows, but everyone on mythical kitchen is so great, between them and the awesomely ridiculous dishes Josh makes this is by far one of my favorite channels.
Sometimes I forget that this is a cooking show and just get lost in Josh's ramblings.

However, when I finished and watched a different video at normal speed, I felt drunk with the speed difference. It was honestly like running into a pool, and just feeling your whole body rapidly decelerate.

I literally love that this is the video for the cooking channel today because I teach in Korea and one of my students argued with me that a corn dog is a hot dog. I showed them what a hot dog looks like when you google it and they were like "that's not a hot dog!" I was laughing for like a good 5 minutes and we basically had a whole debate about corndogs being hot dogs cause at least my students that I talked to today had NEVER heard of the term corndog. It was the funniest thing of the day.

So as someone who lives in Korea...a few things. I think Koreans would prefer the hotdogs to have the whole sausage but wrapped in cheese before battering, as that is something they do. And as for the yeast batter, I think you had way too much batter. Even with the gamja hot dog, they can be eaten like a normal Korean hot dog if you have a large mouth. And I have never seen anyone use gochujang with a hotdog. Most common is to eat the sugar coated hotdog with ketchup.
I'm basing this off my experiences of living in Korea.
I've been horribly sick since my Covid shot, and I still want that. What you described. I wonder if I can crawl to the kitchen.

The thing about living your whole life in Alaska is you never even think of combining 'bacon-wrapped' and 'corn-dog'. Seeing this lets me know just how much of life has passed me by....but no regrets. (I'll be making these this weekend though.) ;)
