Falling tree can "domino" other trees, impacting your safe zone, out farther than falling tree's height. Have seen trees fall laterally (90 degrees)
from hinge cut, can get ugly.

John Franco I like the chaps, however they are Hot, but since my time available to cut is during the Summer, Hot is what I need to deal with. They fit nicely, Hope I never have to test them.

He was talking about having the power company disconnecting the wires. Remove the tree. Then reconnect the power.
