I have a pond in my backyard it doesn't really have the best soil makeup for holding water but it still had enough water for frog and tadpoles the whole summer it was low but didn't go completely dry it slowly drains over a few months but by the time it finally dries out its the end of September and usually fills right back up when we get rain in November and December and the process starts all over again Great video by the way

We've seen bats, several species of frogs, and birds using the the pond.
rivers often used to flow over rock ,with some rivers being diverted is no longer over rock or clay ,consquence of running dry quicker in warmer months,not so much pollution co2 its what mans doing else where,deforestation,dams,many other factors,concrete jungles!!!
