Great set of videos Andrew, watched them all couldn't stop once I got started. Glad that charlie is OK after is run in with the wolves, but they are only trying to survive in a wild and wonderful landscape, just like you. They are after all Charlies ancestor thats why you chose him as your companion he inherited their wisdom. They are a bit of a nuisance here in Ontario though taking livestock and they do have to be contoled we hunt them every winter. Thanks for doing this for us hunters who don't have the opportunity, I for one am very thankful that you share so much with us and I wish you well with this years trap-line.

Hey Andrew, awesome sheep. Definitely an old timer. I have watched them feed and I always thought the lamb tips wear off on the rocks when they feed on a steep slope. The tips inhibit their ability to get close to the ground when they eat.Also fighting the tips hit and get damaged.
Another great adventure in the wild north. Loved the drone shots added in. Nice touch. One good thing to add in to the bush medical kit is raw (unpasteurized) honey. It heals wounds on people and animals like nothing I've seen. You can use it until you can get medical attention. Apply it on a wound twice daily after you've cleaned the wound and be prepared to be amazed. You'll have to cover it on a pet so they don't lick it off (t-shirt/bandage etc). I've healed some gnarly wounds with it. It has great anti-bacterial properties and stimulates healthy tissue. If you don't end up using it on a trip, well, spread the honey on toast and enjoy!

Andrew have you ever done a video about the Mad Trapper of Rat River? I love this story and hope to go to Regina, Canada to see the trappers belongings. What would be even cooler would be, to go on a tour of the chase up there. In the summer time of course.
I read the book. I am sure a lot of people up there have different opinions about the man. It sounded to me like the man was an awesome survivalist. Possibly even a combat hardened WWI vet. But some people probably didn't have a high praise of the man. It sounded like he was in peak physical condition.

Nice way to hunt, that is awesome you have enough room to bring the boat out too. IS that your Drone? awesome footage. I like how you cut in the video from your drone and your father's head cam. I would like to own one. Great tool for retrieving game after a shot. I bowhunt whitetails and bear. It would be a great help when you lose the blood trail and can't find the animal. Also we have a big vly or fly whatever you call them by our camp back in the woods. I would like to do a fly over that and the ridge by my stand before I go out hunting with a couple guys hunting. Get you a tube of EMT gel for your dog. It's an antibiotic gel but it helps hold wounds closed and keep dirt out and taste like shit so they won't want to lick it off.

Can you not carry handguns in Canada even when out in the wilderness? I would think it would be an excellent idea for close range self defense situations for sure.
no we cant cary a hand gun unless it is to and fom the shooting range if u get caught carrying a hand pistal u can do 5 years in the big house. i have never shot a handgun before
