    I want to buy green one but a bit skeptical about it. I don't want it spicy(0%). Is it spicy?

    I know it is a healthy version of noodles. But it's a bit dry. I tried foxtail millet noodles and I felt that these noodles are a bit dry. I guess since it's made of millet and it's a thick grain.

    • @LittleOnesPlatter
      @LittleOnesPlatter  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hello Shruti,
      I would suggest add a little water next time and cook it covered on low heat. The steam will make it softened.
      I completely understand your point here. I agree that the texture cannot be same as regular noodles which are made with all purpose flour.
      Unfortunately, healthy things are not as tasty as unhealthy things 😀
      For example regular cakes are yummy and scrumptious compared to the one which are super healthy.
      Every ingredients are different and we simply cannot get the same result with the wholesome nutritious substitute.
      Hope it helps 🙂

    Just had one packet it was awful. Noodles texture is not good, seasoning taste is bad. Healthy doesn't mean we have to compromise on taste so much

    • @LittleOnesPlatter
      @LittleOnesPlatter  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Everyone has their unique taste preferences, and what may not suit your palate might be someone else's delight. Just because a product doesn't resonate with you doesn't mean it's inherently bad - many people may genuinely enjoy it.
      Feel free to choose whatever you like 🙂

      @@LittleOnesPlatter Not only complaining about the taste, also look at the texture. When cooking like a regular Maggi it is breaking. Doesn't fit under the instant noodles category.. May be we have to dip and strain the water.

    • @LittleOnesPlatter
      @LittleOnesPlatter  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I completely understand your point, but millets have a unique texture that's naturally denser than regular flours, due to their distinct protein and fiber composition. This inherent density makes them more delicate and prone to breaking, setting them apart from regular flours.
      For example- Rotis made from ragi, jowar, bajra, or makki ka aata tend to be more delicate and prone to breaking and a little dense in texture. It's challenging to achieve the same softness as romali roti made from whole wheat or all-purpose flour. Let's appreciate these traditional millets for their distinct characteristics and choose what we enjoy the most. Simply choose whatever you like 🙂

      So once again feel free to make that as a noodle as well. Btw, seviyan/vermicelli and noodles technically both are almost the same.
