The trailer makes this look wonderful but this movie was so ridiculously convoluted. The actors were fantastic, their chemistry on screen was great and I would have loved to have seen them just make it a high school love story and leave it at that. Unfortunately this movie takes place over the course of 12 years and is more depressing than it is fun
Do you think life ends after high school for gay people? This is real life. If high school is considered your peak, you are in need of some serious mental support. I enjoyed it this thoroughly. It made the characters grow and develop beyond their senior year in high school.
