back in 1993 , I drove a tiur bus full of lovely young ladies from Key Largo to MIA & just before Red road it started to smoke , I put on my emergency lights trying to get to the roadside & no one would let me over ( pigs!) out of seemingly nowhere a Fantastic Miami Dade officer stopped traffic & I managed to get all the lady passengers off the bus before it caught on fire , that same Awesome officer actually routed a vus to pick up all the passengers & safely got them to MIA !! I owe that Great Officer Big time & Never forgot him !! 👍👍
Second time this year a bus randomly catching on fire on rhe highway. This happened to a bus company i used to work for a few years ago. the bus randomly caught on fire shortly after returning to the garage, This was due to poor maintenance, and I'm pretty sure more of these freak incidents will happen due to all the patch work/bad maintenance companies do to these buses, these companies very stingy when it comes to maintenance money. This is a dangerous situation and will unfortunately be more frequent...

Did not specify whether it was an electric bus, so I am assuming it was because they been burnin up in europe left and right
