    • Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq said:
*❝O people, if Muḥammad ﷺ is the god whom you worship, then [your god] has died, and if your god is the one above (fī al-samāʾ), then he hasn’t died.❞*
📚 (Muṣannaf Ibn Abī Shaybah 37021)
    • Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq said:
*‎❝Whoever worshipped Muḥammad, then Muḥammad is dead, but whoever worshipped Allāh, then Allāh is above (fī al-samāʾ), alive and shall never die.❞*
    📚 (Al-Tārīkh al-Kabīr 623)
    • Ibn Zayd narrated:
*❝ʿUmar Ibn al-Khaṭṭāb encountered a woman known as Khawlah while he was walking among the people. She stopped him, and he stood for her. He approached her, inclined his head to listen, and placed his hands on her shoulders until she had finished speaking and then he left. A man said to him: ‘O Amīr al-Mūʾminīn, you detained the men of Quraysh for the sake of this elderly woman.’ ʿUmar replied: ʿWoe to you! Do you know who this woman is?’ The man said: ʿNo.’ Umar said, ʿThis woman, by Allāh, her complaint was heard by Allah from above the seven heavens. This is Khawlah Bint Thaʾlabah. I swear by Allāh, if she hadn’t turned away from me until the night, I wouldn't have turned away until her need was fulfilled.’”❞*
📚 (Tafsīr Ibn Abī Ḥātim 18841)
    • The grandfather of Khālid Ibn Zayd said:
*❝ʿAlī Ibn Abī Ṭālib delivered a speech to the people [the likes of which] he did not deliver afterwards, he said: “Praise be to Allah, who has drawn near in His loftiness and is accessible in His nearness. Nothing reaches His place (makān), and nothing can withhold from Him whatever He wills.”❞*
    📚 (Al- Radd ʿAlā al-Jahmīyyah p. 61)
    • ʿAbdullāh Ibn Rawāḥah said:
*❝I testify that Allāh’s promise is true, and that the fire is the abode of the disbelievers. And that the throne is floating above the water, and above the throne is the Lord of the worlds.❞*

    • ʿAbdullāh Ibn Rawāḥah said:
*❝I testify with Allāh’s permission that Muḥammad is the Messenger ﷺ of the one above the heavens.❞*
📚 (Muṣannaf Ibn Abī Shaybah 26024)
    • ʿAbdullāh Ibn ʿAbbās said:
*❝Think about everything, and do not think about the Allāh’s essence (dhāt), for between the seven heavens and the kursī are seven thousand lights, and he is above that.❞*

    📚 (Al-Radd ʿAlā al-Jahmīyyah p. 37, Sharḥ Uṣūl Iʾtiqād Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamāʾah 1/479)
    • ʿAbdullāh Ibn ʿAbbās said to ʿĀʾishah:
*❝You were the most beloved of the women of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, and he would not love except that which was ṭayyib (good), and Allāh sent down the declaration of your innocence from above the seven heavens.❞*
    📚 (Musnad al-Imām Aḥmad 3262)
    • ʿAbdullāh Ibn ʿAbbās said:
*❝The good word is the remembrance of Allāh, may He be exalted, which is taken up to Allāh, and the righteous deed is the performance of obligatory duties. Whoever remembers Allāh when doing an obligatory duty, his deed carries his remembrance of Allāh and takes it up to Allāh, may He be exalted. Whoever remembers Allāh and does not perform the obligatory duties, his words will be rejected, as will his deed.❞*

    • ʿAbdullāh Ibn Masʾūd said:
*❝Between the first heaven and the one above it is a distance of 500 years, between each of the heavens is a distance of 500 years. Between the seventh heaven and the kursī is a distance of 500 years, between the kursī and the water is a distance of 500 years, and the throne is above the water, and Allāh is above the throne, and he knows what you’re upon.❞*

      • ʿAbdullāh Ibn Masʾūd said:
*❝When the Muslim servants says, Glory and praise be to Allah, there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, Allah is Most Great and blessed be Allāh, an angel takes these words and puts them under his wing, then he ascends with them to the heaven. He does not take them past any group of angels but they seek forgiveness for the one who said them, until he brings them before the Most Merciful.” Then he recited: {To him to the good words ascend, and the righteous action raises it}.❞*

      • Anas Ibn Mālik narrated:
*❝Zaynab used to boast before the wives of the Prophet and used to say: “You were given in marriage by your families, while I was married [to the Prophet ﷺ] by Allāh from above the seven Heavens.”❞*
