- On the second day of our trip to Shikoku, we went to Imabari to look for toweling blankets to use in our campervan.
Then we headed to a place we had been wanting to visit when we came to Ehime.
The road trip turned out to be tougher than we expected, but we were impressed by the spectacular views ahead!
And we enjoyed a meal in the car made with local ingredients.
It was a day of enjoying Shikoku to the fullest.

We are a family of three: husband (Shin), wife (Ayako), and daughter (Yuri), both around 40 years old and our only daughter.
We bought the campervan of our dreams, the Corde Leaves, so that our daughter could have a variety of experiences!
We will enjoy our hobby of outdoor activities, such as camping, staying in the car, mountain climbing, and fishing, while traveling all over Japan.
In addition, we would like to share with you how we made the campervan more comfortable by DIY and our daily life using the camper.

Just a tip for when you get car (or boat) sick: don't close your eyes or try to focus on anything. Just watch the horizon outside.
The reason why you get car sick is because your brain is feeling movement inputs from the vehicle but it has no frame of reference. The more you are trying to focus on something inside the vehicle, the worst it will get. Watching the horizon will let your brain synchronise the vehicle motions with a matching reference.
