Yes it was the same for me, my birthday is on 22th of November so I never knew if I was a Sagittarius or Scorpio in western astrology. But in Vedic I have Sun and mercury in scorpio but also Leo moon, rahu and ascendant (the Leo moon I have in both). But I get what you mean, sometimes you just have a feeling.

In the western system I used to have Sun in Aries & Moon in Scorpio which described it pretty well but switching to Vedic I am a Moon in Libra 19:33 (Swati-4). Kapiel, here is something that I very frustrated about. I am a Gemini Ascendandant with Ketu in 1st house Saturn in 8th in Capricorn Mars in 9th and Venus and Mercury in 10th in Pisces. Even though the sun in aries describes me pretty well, I feel that Scorpio sun also describes me pretty well too :/ I am extremely secretive, dont trust what people say and deeply interested in all things Scorpio (esoteric, meditation). I have no planets at all in Scorpio in Vedic system yet all this darkness..
what if mars is in aquarius?
