@@StaufferGarage Clearly not your job, nor your call, but with that big hole in it, id consider getting it replaced, or at least patched.
I replaced the cabin filter in a smoker's truck. Not sure I would do it in every smoke car, but it helped a TON.

@stauffergarage what made you decide on the vacmaster beast vaccum over the other popular brands like rigid?? Is the vacmaster more powerfull than rigid?? Im looking for something compact that can go on the wall to save space, and that can handle a 20-30 ft hose as well, and maybe a 2nd to handle diy extractor until i can get a mytee 8070. Is the craftsman XPS the same as the vac master beast??Your thoughts and input is much appreciated and thank you in advance.

I just don’t like pulling carpet out because I don’t wanna screw with the center console and risk breaking something. Lol

Hi brother Stauffer, serious enquiry:
From personal experience, using the steamer with a brush attachment can cause fading to some plastic parts.. leaving it in a chalky, burned condition.. especially with older cars… do you not experience the same when you use yours, similarly?
If not, can you advise on how to avoid this from happening?
For reference purposes, I use the dupray hill 304 (stainless steel) steamer unit..

What type of vacuum cleaner you use? Does it take a bag?
I have a 2016 GMC SIERRA NEEDS the same treatment.
So question….with smells and stuff, typically I hear to run an ozone generator if I have one. I am hearing everything from 5 mins to 12 hours. How long do you run these things for? I wanna get the smells out but don’t wanna damage the clients car.

I've noticed that people don't know how to use a vacuum or where to find one to use in their cars. Or a wash clothe for that matter. If I were to be picked up in a car that looked like that; no thanks I'll walk.

Good work, but something tells me that to clear a floor it's not enough to make this car smell more better. What about ceiling in this car? Driver nose is near for ceiling than to a floor though evaporations always rise up))) And a hole in carpet under driver legs... face palm... it should to be fixed... but as usual it's another unpublished story which not included in this video.

Hey, genuine question: is it really ok to spray the panel wet like that? can't it potentially hurt the electronics?
The electronics are behind the plastic but what i would not do hit the displays with it, you can destroy it. Best way to clean it, take a microfaser cloth and hit with car cleaning product and you are good to go.

I've noticed steam cleaning sneaking in over the years. I have seen other detailers use it for stubborn spots but never on the whole vehicle. That was something that took off after the c*vid nonsense and hasn't left. Soap and water is more than enough. It's worked for hundreds of years or even longer. Steam just seems like some upsell that will part a fool and his money. And I'm all for it lol.
Hahaha I’d say try it before you knock it. Especially for cig tar and grease. Soap and water work but add soap/ water and blast steam and it melts away
what about the headliner?
I also always wonder about that as the cleaning of the headliner is rarely shown in these videos. Using steam would probably mess up the glue so i imagine just using a microfiber towel with apc and being gentle as possible to clean it.
