i am asian. i was refused or repeated asking me can i really sing in europe at Karaoke nights in various bars. They said they have never seen China or asian man can sing. guess what?? some wanted to pay me to sing afterwards. Lots people in western countries are very bias and somewhat rac.....ist and never give asians any chances. look at how many asians can have any chance to shrine in HOllywood?? or Grammy??? Karaoke invented in Asia. and you guys live in western countries think asians can not sing????love to hear your comments. peace..
Yes, you can. I am a Chinese from Hong Kong and I moved to Spain 8 years now. I remembered the first couple of times when I sang in there, not many people appreciate my singing even though my singing is not that bad. I have performed 8 musicals when I was in Hong Kong singing in English and I also have singing lessons myself for a long time. Fortunately, I have a chance to know one owner of one of the Karaoke bars in my town and after he heard my singing, he asked me to download some English and Chinese songs I like and put them on his computer in his bar. After a while, now when I was there singing, those Spanish people really enjoy listening to those songs even though they do not understand the languages. Don't give up. Eventually one day soon, they will accept and understand Chinese can also sings well.
@@capullete1 thanks for your reply.interesting.where in Spain do u live??maybe we could sing together.while in my university time,I sang at piano bars,people paid me to sing, mostly in Chinese some English. But living in West for 29 years,no chance to sing in Chinese at all,only English songs.i do sing some musical songs too. Curious to know which part in Spain do u live??did u immigrate to Spain?? I was planning to visit Spain mainland.not those islands.but coz covid.i posphoned. Are there any good karaoke places to go in Spain.thought only British bars have English songs??
