If I am not mistaken the band show Mr. Hamin Ahmed is talking about happened before the release of Protisruti. Because Chaad Taara was like a wild fire after that band show. People were anxiously waiting for the release of their bangla album. I myself got a pirated version of that band show from a friend who recorded the entire show on a tape directly from TV. Their first ever Bangla song on TV was prothom premer moto which was an instant hit. Their debut Bangla album was a superhit when it was released. I have to say that there are very few Bangla band albums where you don't have to skip a track once you start playing it and PROTISRUTI is one of them for sure. Almost every song in that album was a hit. They did lots of concerts after the release of their debut album and I have been to almost everyone of them specially if it was in DHAKA.
Hey Rahul Amazing Podcast. Doing very well so far. However, please try to give as much as respect as possible and avoid interrupting and asking the camera people stuff in middle like "EY BETA KOI, EY TARATARI DE, EY PEPPERONI KOI, EY FAN TA CHAR, Etc" when you are interviewing anyone who is a senior. Yes be casual, but to a limit though. Other than that awesome!! keep it up
No BS Rahul they are very serious at all the US airports here. They don't fuck around if your personal info is not correct, so if one of the members had their name backwards or had spelling mistake they would decline you to fly and they have the authority to do so. Doesn't matter who it is. Many famous people from around the world had faced similar problems. Plus the people at the airports here don't know who MILES is nor do they give a crap about them.
Pity how Hamin Ahmed can hardly be heard at all for too long since the conversations starts. Doesn’t anybody realize this? It cannot be only me. Pretty pointless to even try to sit through such marathon podcasts when you can’t property hear what the guest is saying from the start. Ridiculous! 🙄

The host grew up in the Bangla band music history that you’re talking about and he has 2 bands Poraho & Trainwreck. His siblings are from the band Owned. So you can literally tell this guy Rahul knows his shit there goes your “do some research” comment outta the drain

Miles is the most overrated band in the history of Bangladesh. Look there is Ark and their composition was the very best that you will realize if you ever listen to Jonmobhumi and Taj Mahal. Then there are Warfaze, LRB and Nagar Baul. All these 4 band were waaaaay ahead of Miles.
Miles is not a overrated band, The band is actually complete band.Because Cryptic fate, Black, Aurthohin, Nemesis and other band is they come from after in 2000 decade is pure hard metal, Alternative Rock, heavy metal, progressive Rock band. But,But,But Miles is only band they combinated western and eastern taste their music. Thats why miles is complete band.Present time Artcell is a another complete band, yes they are progressive rock band, but on the other hand they show bengali music feel their band.
