This is a great song from an exceptional talent. Tal is a breath of fresh air in today's music scene. Her lyrics are poetic gems and her music is complex and fresh, while still being very reachable. The more you listen to her, the more hynotic her music becomes. Great job!!
Her voice has a unique quality that reminds me of some singer-songwriters from the '70s and '90s... but is truly different. She's singular, and her playing is outstanding.
Titanic Dragon: ~ Yeah - , singing is not Tal's forte, but she's certainly not terrible at it. On-the-other-hand, (for-instance) Courtney Love _was_ a terrible singer back during the early `90s in her band Hole (up-to-and-including the "Live Through This" album), and yet she wound-up becoming a major star, anyway. It can be odd what the listening public will and won't accept.
C/P this is great!! Saw her last night in Portland.. Impeccable performance by the whole Band.. great music and very personable with the audience making for a lot of good music and Fun.. such a great talent.. Hope she really moves here to Portland .. we will welcome her with thousands of open arms!! VIEW • VIEW •
Illiam Deebe she is super talented and her lyrics and music are well put together but her audience is largely 60 generation older men ..,,, tough fit in today’s genre
@@LD-qj2te I would have to agree with you on all counts. I was just shocked to see her on a late night show. I don't think this cart can be pushed up that hill no matter how many publicists are behind it.
Well-her voice throws me off immediately. As a lifelong bassist myself, you're all missing it ENTIRELY if you haven't seen her play bass live with Jeff Back from the Crossroads Blues videos of 200u I believe that's the year. She's a GREAT talent but doesn't seem to have any kind of vocal range here... Fantastic bassist she is #1. Check that video out
She sings from the throat with a very limited range. But she has a pretty voice - even if it is not at par with the great female vocalists of today. She is still one sexy and talented bassist.
She's an amazing bass player but so far her solo work has been disappointing. As others have noted, a total lack of a memorable hook. The phrasing causes any lyrical meaning to be lost. If she continues along this path, she'll be just a memory in 5 years.

tal is a amazing bass player great to see her solo career moving forward awesome
She is such an accomplished young lady. She has played with so many greats.
Tal plays with Jeff Beck and jus
so happens to be also one best bass players in the business today

Beautiful song.
Masterful.
I honestly don't understand why so many people are saying she's a horrible vocalist? She's a pretty decent vocalist and a killer bassist.

She is a great singer. This song is sung like this as a stylistic choice.
Haters gonna hate
LOVE IT
Talent 💯
Love the new music. And, you are an excellent guest w/Jeff.

"C/P"?
PURO FUEGO!
The A&R man said 'I don't hear a single'

The other song was better. She's a huge talent. Hope she finds her niche.
well.. money DID become king, man.
Great hair.
This has a little bit of an old school Radiohead vibe to it ... I like it
Daiiiiiyummmnnn

Beck thought she's the best..Who concert too
If she keeps appearing in videos, I will cease to look at pornography altogether. She makes me melt.
Wow such a mysterious feel to it. Looking forward to a lot more from Tal. Oh and is that guitar downtuned to a C? Sounds darkly ominous
🔥🔥❤
Nice work Keith Carlock. What happened to the drummer with the long curly hair?
Wait a minute. Did Tal steal Steely Dan's drummer?
Only Owen Barry on lead guitar is a regular in her lineup.
Borrowed. Has played with Tal a few times before. The Dan still have Keith
@@simonwoodharris7199 Yeah, I know. Just kidding 😁 been seeing Keith perform with Wayne Krantz at the 55 Bar since 1997.
Hey! I think she has held a stringed instrument before!
nice
Tal stop confusing those young people with REAL MUSIC!!!!!!
Sounds like Nirvana.
Wait!! A bass player playing a song with no bass???
Her voice is stoner chick beautiful 😌❤️😘😘😘👩🏻🎤
First💘💘
*Bring back guitars, basses, & drums. Throw the laptops & turntables into the garbage*

wow the singing is way off pitch here. Good songwriting though.
Stick to bass Tal. But there again be true to yourself. Not for me to say.
You probably need to listen to "Pieces of Me"
If it's "not for you to say", why did you say it?
@@kkjhn41 Because I wanted to.
@@michaelbanks7157Nice to see someone admit that they don't really mean what they said to try and make their first dumb statement seem alright.
Weak vocal
It's not status quo, so most people don't like it, by definition.

Tal please go back to be the best bassplayer in the world instead of this junk
