Hey it’s nice to see one of your videos again! I missed your great content and builds. And it’s alright that life gets in the way it happens to everyone. Have you ever considered putting a US style fire station in the town? I think it would be pretty neat. And then you could do different fire calls as builds to change the town up every once in a while. Anyways sorry for the long comment and I can’t wait to see more content in the future! 👍😀🙂
Hello and thanks, long comment are always welcome 😀 I have considered that yes and I have also considered make the table more narrow, so I can have 2 displays basically. It would make life so much easier as its difficult to get to the center of my current table width.
Hey man. Great to see a video but hey we understand. Life is busy and maintaining the property can be time consuming. Glad to hear the lighting is doing good and very cool about the ballasting parts. I’m very much looking forward to fall and winter to see your small town grow as well as any other build. Keep up the great work.
Great to see you again. We all have a lot to do in our lives and it is something that must be understood. Take your time. Keep it with pleasure. Your honesty and and freindly way of sharing will always be appreciated.😀 I like what you do and it's inspiring Thank you again..
Thank you so much. I think the rude comments or at least I hope anyway, are usually kids. I try to make these types of videos for younger people to understand, just because someone posts videos on youtube, does not mean it is their career.
I received the 2x4 custom yellow stripe road plate parts the other day and you did a great job customizing that part and shipping was quick. Thank you.
Nice update. Can't wait to see the Wayne tower moc. I hope there is a batman tribute in the build somewhere. I am 1 fig away from having all the villains I need for my amusement park after getting 1 of the hardest ones to find a few weeks ago while on a road trip.
@BevinsBricksWorld I got Killer moth, which I have wanted him since that 2016 set he came in that just so happens to be his latest appearance in any set. I am only missing a poison ivy now since a batman set I have to build has scarecrow in it, which is one villain I still need to add to my amusement park but I am waiting for lego to give us a mad hatter in an actual set since he is the only villan from the first game to never get a real figure yet 16 years after the games release.
Schön wieder von Dir zu hören. Das wichtigste ist, dass es Dir gut geht. Wir haben jetzt auch ein neues Haus und es komplett renoviert. Ich habe dafür alleine inkl. Umzug 9 Monate gebraucht. Einen großen Garten haben wir jetzt auch. Aber Du hast ja einen ganzen Park. 🤣😉.. Viele Grüße Frank
Glad to see you back. On the yellow line road stripes, I'm in Eastern New Mexico and we don't have yellow lines. Ours are white stripes. Love the idea to change up layouts though.
I have been all over the USA and never seen white lines anywhere. I am part of the road commission for Michigan as well. So that really surprises me. Others in very warm climates like yourself have said that as well though. So I wonder if the yellow is because I am in a snow state. As yellow is much easier to see with snow on the ground.
Hello Mr. Bevin. Nice to see you again. By the look of it, things are quite busy for you. Things are slightly more busy for me now too. I started my own non-real company, Brickticks Engine Works. We, and we I mean me, specialize in narrow gauge Lego engines and rolling stock. In fact, I just finished today the designs for the new Class 22 Narrow Gauge Steam Locomotive. Although, The Class 22 won’t be available for quite some time, as currently I’ve only just uploaded the Class 3 and Class 5 Steam engines this past week, (with the Class 1 & 2 Steam Locomotives preceding), and I try to upload only once a month. I should note that next month’s upload will be the Class 1 Narrow Gauge Diesel, so you’re viewers reading this comment can expect that toward the end of next month, via Rebrickable of course. Anyways, just thought I’d stop in and tell you hi. May the Bricks be with You, and Rockatoa, Brickticks out!
I can relate to cutting the grass for a large property. Back in Potomac MD(late 90's to early 2000's) my parents owned a house on a 3 acre lot. I had a John Deere riding mower to cut the grass. Usually took me a couple hours to mow depending at what speed I drove and the growth thickness(Summers always took longer to cut) of the grass.
This summer has been a lot of rain here, so the grass has been growing like a weed. If I dont cut it every 6 days minimum I have to basically cut it twice. Like you it takes me about 3 hrs to get it all.
@@BevinsBricksWorld The great thing I had at the time was our back yard was adjacent to the woods, so I could compost all the cut grass in the woods and that was legal in MD. Here in CA you can't do that. I did the same thing as you and cut a grass path through the woods.
You take your time your Lego city ....life gets in the way..we all know that, you have phenomenal custom LEGO city, can't wait to see more update Bevin, take care 👍
Nice property, I have something similar in Hungary and I never appreciated the work involved until we took it on. With regards to the printing, some train themed signs would be good.
Thanks for doing the yellow lines for the roads Daryl. Don't understand why it is so hard for Lego to offer that for one of their biggest, if not the biggest, customer base in the world. I still don't like the new roads so not sure If I will get them. I am making my own brick built roads.
Thanks, I love it and the fact that it is a manual shift. So many cars do not offer manuals anymore and being able to get this with one was a huge bonus.
When I watched this it had been up for an hour. In the 9 minutes and 5 seconds it took to watch the views went from 633 to 702... Some of your ballasting pieces may just have to come my way this Fall. I've ordered a bunch of brown plates for my ties, but I've been holding off on the ballasting bits... How did you know? lol Digging he new format!
Thats good its climbing that fast, thanks for the observation on that. As for knowing about ballasting I have a little trick that I can see people lego rooms when they are watching my videos 😆 🤣 😂
Life is fun like that.. 😅 especially with yard work. Glad you're okay and still into making longer form videos. It'll be worth the wait! Random extra question, will you be displaying again at Brickfair this year?
Thanks and yeah, the long videos will just be, in my opinion, a bit more sloppy. But I know people enjoy them. My next video is how to replace the wire for the 9volt trains. As for brickfair, no I wont be able to make it. Taking a long trip with the family next month so I wont have enough vacation time to do that and my trip.
@@BevinsBricksWorld As long as you're enjoying making longer form content, that's the important thing. There's definitely an audience for both video lengths. Also that's exciting! I've been debating about different train powering systems and 9v seems to be a pretty big pick for people. Ah okay, that's understandable. Hope you all have a great time together! What are the plans?
what do you do for work? and what state are you in? you got a lot of property its awesome im just interested in how you managed to get such a sweet home
I have 5 myself but actually swapped them out for o scale train regulators because they are better, more power steps, and way cheaper overall than official.
Now I'm curious if you are going to do a Godzilla build. Also, I learned something, didn't notice that the road markings were different. I just assumed that the main difference was road signs, not the markings.
It would be fun to be godzilla for a day 😆 🤣 , I am not internationally traveled so not sure on all the differences on road lines, but that is why Lego only uses white. They do have a lot of different signs too.
@@BevinsBricksWorld I mean not to brag, but I've been to England, France, Japan and the Philippines. I always assumed that white lines were just commonplace. I never honestly thought about those mundane details.
Can i just confirm, the lego track ballast pieces? They work with the newer official lego plastic track from the city or just the older 12v metal stuff?

You have an awesome property! Thanks for keeping us all updated on the city, and congrats again on the success of your lighting business!
Make a custom Loves truck stop gas station. I would really love to see that. I would pay for instructions too.
Wow, big garden brother ! I will be happy to work in this garden ! But, lego is great

We do have yellow road lines in Europe, or at least here in the Netherlands, but they're for temporary markings during roadworks.
Thanks for the update. Would love to see a custom curved road plate.

Not aware of them making any that could take on more than a small yard. If they do they would probably cost a small fortune.
are you making a final update on the daily bugle?
