  • Kanyakumari is the southernmost town in mainland India and is sometimes referred to ‘The Land’s End.’It is a hugely popular tourist attraction famous for its unique ocean sunrise, sunset, and moonrise and also as a notable pilgrimage site, owing to its number of religious monuments, memorials, and statues. It is also known as Cape Comorin, Kumari and Kumari Munai.
    An ancient palace with mesmerizing architecture, Padmanabhapuram Palace is a fine example of excellence of art and craftsmanship.
    Padmanabhapuram Palace has intricate carvings and fine finishing that still captivates every visitor. The interior of the palace is absolutely breathtaking. It is located at a distance of 37 km from Kanyakumari and 50 km from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala and around 20km from Nagarcoil.
    Mathoor Aqueduct is located in the Vilavancode Taluk of the Kanyakumari District in Tamil Nadu. This one-kilometre long trough is amongst the longest and tallest trough bridges that can be found all across the continent. The canal transports water from one side of the hill to the other for irrigation requirements of the regions of Vilavancode and Kalkulam. The canal is held up by 28 massive pillars with the peak of the pillar reaching 35m. This bridge extends with a length of a 340 m. It is the only one in India which act as artifical canal for water flow with height of 115 feet.
