- The Old Town is an area of historical interest in the city of Phuket. The main streets of Old Town are Thalang, Phang Nga, Krabi, Dibuk, and Yoawarat. Old Town is noted for Sino-Portuguese buildings on both sides of the street. Many old buildings have been converted into shops, hotels, restaurants, and museums.

Have you been to Asia before? Almost every city is spotless.
@@kayflip2233 that depends on the part of the country in question, and I seriously doubt that almost every city or town is as clean as you claim. You mentioned ASIA, ASIA is a very large area, have you visited all of it? Try visiting some of the less fortunate areas.
@@alberttabron3177 I just mean the downtown center of the city, just like what is shown in this video. 7/10 of the most visited cities in the world are in Asia. There is strong government mandate to keep them clean. Entire beaches are shut down for years for example if there is any eco damage. I have worked in a couple of cities in Asia for McKinsey and travelled all over the entire continent to almost every country and never found one city that I would describe as full of trash (South Asia yes, but not so much Southeast Asia and definitely not East Asia). Of course there are slums in places like Manila that have trash, but I'm talking about the main city center where tourists are like in this video.

How I miss the old town. There’s a great ice cream restaurant in the small ally way called torry’s ice cream. My fiancée’s friend owns that restaurant & highly recommend anyone to go there & so many food stalls on a Sunday market 😊
I'm not interested in the food stalls. I know what a real restaurant looks like when I see one, like the ones in Seoul, S. Korea.

@@Religious_man yeah but just because Seoul is more of an advanced country doesn’t mean to say that Thailand isn’t. You’re comparing two countries that have different cultures. Maybe Thailand is old fashion but at least they don’t want to change too much just to satisfy the western people or want to have too much technology & keep it as Thai traditional

Before the pandemic getting nastier back in 2020, I lived in Phuket for over 10 years and the old quarter was and will always be in my favorite list beside some of my favorite place at its beaches. Try to get some foot massage at Kim's on Yaowarat Road. Visit before the sunset 🌇 😊 is actually recommended because you'll get the best natural light setting. Stop over at a café called Campus is also good choice too if you have walked and need some drinks or coffee to cool down. This is very genuine and nice vlogging indeed Khun Chris. Phuket looks a lot nicer than Bangkok. There are more real businesses there and few vendors. At 20:22, this building here looks like it got scorched very recently by a fire. Interesting architecture.
