My theory is the woman in the erased photo was Alder’s lover and she either taught or helped Alder with her magic, the forbidden kind. Something happened, she died somehow and the magic was taken on by the Spree. Alder, feeling guilty for creating the Spree and losing her lover, erased the woman from history and now Tally, because of her sight power, is seeing the woman and because of her connection to Alder is relieving memories of not only Alder, but the woman too. It might explain Tally’s feelings for Alder if she’s channeling this lost lover of Alder.
I’ve been reading theories and I now believe that this woman was the creator of the Spree. The off canon magic is spree specialty and it seems she was one of the first to use it as it was forbidden. I think alder unintentionally created the spree. I think they were also lovers too and that could be why tally is feeling this way. I think a lot of our theories are going to be correct tbh

I think it was pretty heavily implied that the earth shaking when Abigail and Adil were having sex was Adil's doing. That's why Tally asked her if she "quaked" too. The songs that Adil's people posses have are those that affect and reshaped the earth and they have made it very clear that they don't want the military to have their power. Also Tally being able to see the sounds likely has nothing to do with her connection to Alder. Tally's specialty was always her vision and perception.

It's about mentality. this episode was so incredibly good - leaps and bounds better than 2x01 imo. it genuinely got me so hyped for the rest of the season because every. single. one. of the plot lines is fascinating to me. the scenes felt so much less choppy and the dialogue was muuuuch better lmao. can’t wait for the next one, and thanks for the great reaction as always, Adam!! 🤩

I know we have more answers about the mycelium now the season is over but it's clear that at the time they don't know much about the depths of it and referring to it as 'her' is more because they're aware it's sentient (so not an 'it') and they default to her especially in magical affairs!
Abigail is a Bellweather, meaning her power is about controlling the weather. Her sex with Adil actually level up her power, in Season 1 it was shown during that sex ceremony.

Abigail and tally enhanced power comes from rayel and her connection to the mycelium it works only for rayel but because they are her coven they experiencing the side effects of that connection. I'm sorry to disappoint but from what I've seen alder and tally have a mother daughter kind of relationship rather than a lover's relationship. I love how Anacostia ad Scylla are spearheading military and spree working together.

I really liked the actor, but I am quite glad they haven't brought back the Gerit storyline for Tally. I keep thinking they will introduce a new love interest for Tally. Looks like everyone on here except me is like, "Excuse me? They have. It's clearly Alder." And for once, I am out here like 👁️👄👁️. I hope one day a show I watch ships a femslash ship before I think they might do it. I HOPE SO. But like, honestly, if we get a canon Alder or Tally not straight, either one, I'll be shocked and thrilled.
If anything, that experiment scene makes me hopeful for a BellCollar ship sometime in the future, but it can't happen until Raelle gets some closure over the whole Scylla thing. I really hope they don't revive that relationship. Instead, I can see interesting things happening with Scylla and Anacostia, I'd be all for that if it happened, not the Raelle and Scylla thing, I never felt a true connection there. Sadly I think the writers will try to redeem that relationship.
From what I have seen, a lot of the fandom has been really committed to Raelle and Scylla. Not me personally, although both actors do a great job. But I don't really want the fandom disappointed either, and I do think the show will probably go with the ship the fandom stans.
