I have two. A silver one and a black one. As long as you don’t end up with the very common film slipping issue, they are great cameras. It’s definitely one of my favorite cameras.
insane production quality on your video!! i would recommend starting a camera review straight up with a few photos taken from the camera so you'll grab attention of your viewers keep them coming. Good luck!
The lightmeter can actually be really accurate and useful if it does work, issue is that it is made for a 1.35v Mercury battery and today’s batteries are for 1.5v so you may need to compensate with that adjusting the ASA (ISO)
I just got this camera myself! Where do you go to get the film developed? Also, does your camera have a mercury battery? In my camera’s manual it says there’s a mercury battery that needs it level to be checked.
Hahaha, here comes the expensive part. Crazy how just getting the camera is like the same cost as taking and developing 250 images, aka a single drunk evening on an iPhone.
I have had my Ftb since 1970, never had any parts loosen up. Bought it for the our trip to Quebec in 1970.
Dude that is so awesome!!
@@tyler05 just loaned it to my granddaughter for her university class.

Right! I adjust -1/3 to -2/3, e.g. using a 400ASA film, set to 250ASA. Works well.
Hi Tyler your video was brilliant well made... it won't belong before you hit 1,000 subs
Very nice results bro!

The level in my camera doesn’t work and that may be the reason. I send my film to Mpix! They do great work and get it done fast!

Can you zoom with the base lens? or is it fixed?
The lens I have is fixed
