Oh god, this was perfection seeing Annie back at peace and smiling as he watches Asoka and crew. Wow you took my breath away in the music in the background. What a great thing.
Well as Ahsoka said earlier in the episode, Anakin was the one always by her side and sided with her when others accused her of something. So only Anakin watching over her here made sense. But if we were to get Yoda and Obi Wan, the Obi Wan part would be difficult since you need Alec's Obi Wan version
That would have been blatant fan service that made no sense. Anakin was the one closest to Ahsoka, it makes a lot more sense for him to be the only one there in that scene.

@@Wraithage79 exactly, that’s what happened to me, the tone and delivery in Matt’s VA felt so different from my preconceived notion of Anakin Skywalker, and I remember it was always jarring to imagine that the whole show happened between episodes II and III; he acts nothing like he did in Episode III. Now it feels like the same character
@@Wraithage79 They pretty much had him play a mix of both versions so it feels more natural that the movie and CW Anakins are the same character.
The more mature voice could possibly be a coincidence since Hayden’s voice sounds much deeper than it was when he did the movies.
Hayden himself said he watched the entire CW TV show and even addressed his character was way better developed.
Now that ahsoka has her own show, its time for yoda or vader to have their own show
Or just give us Tales of the Inquisitors featuring how Vader abused them in training
yoda spin off. you must......
We need Aayla Secura show
A Palpatine prequel that explores his younger early days would be interesting too.
Jar jar Bink strike back
I need more Anakin/Hayden Christensen content. The Ahsoka series did a wonderful job with that
It’s kinda cool when you consider Ashoka has the incarnation of the good side of the force and the chosen one looking over her. Ashoka really was born for greatness and this only makes the Tales of the Jedi episode about her birth more special.
i cried so hard... it's a character who faught with so much and now hes at peace...
Seeing Anakin's spirit watching over Ahsoka made me so misty eye. He'll forever be Ahsoka's guardian angel
No matter what they say or think will always forgive and honor anakin Skywalker.
OK Disney, you're going on the right track, I hope you can make a What if... for Anakin never turned to the darkside, a life with happiness he deserve
I gotta admit me seeing Anakin as a force ghost watching over Ashoka had me smiling and tearing up a little bit tho. This is an amazing scene and Anakin looks so well as a force ghost he looks like he's at great peace and I'm so proud of him 😎🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.
Kevin Kiner snuck in a partial phrase from Across the Stars too, when Sabine looked and sensed him there.
May sound weird but I feel my dad still watches over me
It’s not weird at all.
(Not to be rude or anything) but he is watching over you just like what's anakin doing to ahsoka
He is🙏👍
Not weird at all dude, he probably is.
He definitely is. I’m sure he cares, wherever he is now.
*Best Ending Scene*, I love it when Anakin looks on how proud he is towards Ahsoka and knowing that it’s not over until the next season turns up.
So when you think about, we should be thankful for George Lucas changing Return of the Jedi with Anakin’s force ghost
The scene… the characters… the themes all great
BUT THAT MUSIC!!!
That big brass sound we all associate with Star Wars from the title crawl blending into those bittersweet chimes that remind us of the intimacy of the bond these two characters (and us by association) share.
Just *chef’s kiss*. Thank you Kevin Kiner.
Oh god, this was perfection seeing Annie back at peace and smiling as he watches Asoka and crew. Wow you took my breath away in the music in the background. What a great thing.
This scene feels like such a perfect sendoff to Anakin Skywalker. Although I'm always happy to get more of him in future seasons
To be honest, I was half expecting that Obi-Wan and Master Yoda would appear.
@@TheRealRickGrimeswho is dead
Obiwan and Yoda are more Luke’s guardian angels. Anakin is Ahsoka’s.
This ain't about them
That would have been blatant fan service that made no sense. Anakin was the one closest to Ahsoka, it makes a lot more sense for him to be the only one there in that scene.
People don’t understand. This isn’t Anakin here for a friend. He is here for his Padawan.
0:56 Anakin was finally free from his pain and suffering knowing that he fulfill his destiny bring peace and justice as the chosen one.
The music in this is amazing
Yeah 100% agree. Star Wars always has that going for it, and the sound design.
Anakin Skywalker ghost not only appears in front of Ashoka Tano and Sabine Wen, but also Ezra Bridget, Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa Solo.
He may be silent, but I can really hear him saying “ I’m proud of you snips”
Seeing Hayden as Anakin again just feels so amazing. He got alot of hate for the prequels so seeing him come back with all the love for a role he’s so perfect for is just awesome
Didn't have to say a word and yet it's so powerful.
After 20 years Hayden Christensen finally gets the recognition and applause he deserved. We have tears of joy because it’s like seeing an old friend you missed for a long time and brings us back to our childhood.
Qui gon jinn showed up at the end of the kenobi show now anakin at the end of ahsoka 😢💯💯 wonder who's next that'll appear a force ghost to a jedi
Oh my god never thought of it like that! 😮❤
Both Anakin and the actor Hayden finally got peace, on finishing the role they have started
I really loved this episode. I'm definitely going to miss this show for a while
1:25 OK I got the Feelings.
This is what we’ve always wanted to see! Anakin finally at peace!
Fue un hermoso final voy a extrañar mucho la serie de Ahsoka llore al ver al final a Anakin Skywalker él elegido volvió a traer el equilibrio a Star wars
The true Rise of Skywalker.
There are some things that Anakin did, that he will never be able to get over, in this life or the next. But at least this one will give him some comfort and closure.
Now Anakin can go back to the flat with Obiwan and Qui Gon
Its just so comforting seeing anakin at peace
I love how even after Anakin is dead dave filoni still manages to make him the main character
Dave knows Star Wars is about Anakin he is the Legacy of George Lucas
this scene might be my favorite star wars scene of all time. seeing my two favorite characters like this is just so amazing
I wish my father looking at me from heaven… 🥲
It does not matter what you have done. You can always redeemed yourself.
aww Skyguy, watching over Snips training her own apprentice. that proud smile he has. also i got a feeling Ahsoka actually saw him, see the nod she gives before she walks off
i was hoping that when sabine feels a presence of something it could be kanan and ahsoka felt the presence of anakin and then the camera shows that there is kanan and anakin watch over them both but this one was a nice touch though
The possibility doesn´t even exist since Kanan never learned the art of immortality after death...
@@robin9838not like anakin did either? Kanan does show up as a force ghost in rebels
@@aleksii_it was stated that when vader was dying in luke’s arms at the end of rotj, obiwan was speaking to anakin and quickly taught him how to become a force ghost
@@aleksii_ I don´t remember Kanan ever appearing as a force ghost though...
@@robin9838 he does appears as force ghost in rebels season 3 or 4 if im not mistaken. he was with hera but hera couldn’t see him but felt his presence cmiiw
Anakin: “Not bad, Snips, not bad at all…”
Once the Chosen One, then Darth Vader, now a Shadow in the Starlight.
I love this.
Deep
More like
Once a Slave
Once a Padawan
Once a Jedi Knight
Once a Sith Lord
Forever a Shadow in the Star light 💙
But your one works as well
He made it right in the end
He'll be back for season 2
This confirms that Hayden's Anakin is how he looks as a Force Ghost instead of Sebastian Shaw, and I like it
anakin paecfully watching over his little sister
yeah and he doesn’t care when his grandson is worshiping darth vader, totally makes sense
pardon me @@md20062
@@md20062You're under the assumption that Kylo would even listen to Anakin to begin with.
@@senton6599 he thought he was talking to vader, u don’t think he would listen if anakin reached out and said, “hey that’s not me”, but hey ig it doesn’t matter cuz palpatine flat out tells kylo and he doesn’t seem to care
@@md20062 Force ghosts, can't influence someone's destiny. Everytime they appeared it was either metaphores or hints in form of lessons.
Fun fact: Darth Vader deflected a shot at Sabine on Rebels. It's fun to think that he probably recognizes her now that he turned back to the light.
I absolutely LOVED the finale. The show as a whole was great too. I had a Tanalor name-drop on my Wishlist, but I got everything else I wanted as a fan. I'll happily wait for what comes next!
There’s so much emotion in Anikans face here Hayden really did put his heart and soul into his performance
I love this even though he turned to the dark side and was redeemed she always used his teachings. He is so proud of her I'm not ashamed it made my eyes water.
The Return of A Jedi, The Return Of Anakin Skywalker. 😭
Disney has been hitting some home runs lately with the Star Wars IP
Anakin is one of those characters that I just get. Seeing this made me really emotional and I'm not ashamed to admit that.
He was may not granted the rank, but he will always be Master Skywalker to Ahsoka.
He smiled in the special edition ROTJ. Hayden was in force ghost form. He smiled at Luke,if i remember.
I'm so happy Anakin is back on the light side, even if he's a force ghost. He seemed so happy looking at his student.
More like Hayden getting the recognition he deserves and the love from the fandom he always had! ❤❤ that’s what this scene means too me 😊
This sense and the music gave me the chills but seeing Anakin ghost was amazing as well.
If he can float, he'll be truly Skyguy
I fw anakin gettin more screen time as a force ghost. The chosen one can’t just b nowhere no more
This was the perfect ending, idaf what the haters are saying
The finale was pretty mid, but this scene is good
Meanwhile Luke dad is nowhere around not even giving him lessons like he did with Ahsoka like the man was gone half of his life and instead of appearing to Luke he just appears to Ahsoka.
Surprised he wasn't wearing the RotJ robes
I just realized that he probably is wearing his ROTJ robes. He’s just bundled up like when Obi-Wan or Old Ben if you will showed up for Luke on Hoth.
I guess George's decision to change Anakin's force ghost at the end of Return of The Jedi with Hayden Christensen is a right decision.
