You choose the wrong cucumber. आपने ग़लत खीरा चुना, जो बिल्कुल हरा खीरा होता है वो पाली हाउस में बहुत ज्यादा दवाईयों से तैयार किया जाता है, पर जो रफ सा दिखने वाला खीरा है वह देशी खीरा है उसमें दवाईयां इस्तेमाल नहीं होती।
लोग अच्छा दिखने की वजह से वो हरा खीरा ले जाते हैं जबकि उसमें बहुत ज्यादा कैमिकल इस्तेमाल होते हैं, हमारे आस पास जो इन खीरों को उगाते हैं वो खुद इनको नहीं खाते।

This is called Persimmon Fruit (अमृतफल या रामफल in hindi), they are grown in Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, etc. It tastes like mango. The Persimmon is native of China, and Japan, South Korea are the top producers of persimmon.
In delhi its called amarphal, I discoveed it by accident too and liked it a lot. Its only available in winters in the market.
We also know them as Sharon fruit, persimon fruit…

This fruit can be eaten with its skin. I always just wash it and cut in four to eat with its skin. Very sweet fruit, available in autumn & winter
