Associating chords with genres is so pointless LMAO
Too true 🤣
@@quaysavetheday nah its limiting
@@quaysavetheday no cause that’s not how music works
@@quaysavetheday No, it limits it, if you know anything about music add6, add7, and add9 chords are used in every genre of music to create unique sounds
Seriously. 😂
i always thought theory was pointless. after these shorts i realize im happy i know theory
no way. its GENERIC TRIAD CHORDS!!!
to make simple extension trick
just use ur 6 chord and change it with 5 chord but put 3 chord above 4 chord (2 3 x 5)
then take a root from 3,5 chord and divide it by E=MC2 then multiply it by 5.02 or 5.03 depending on moisture % in air . Use this simple trick guys its gonna make u sound like your favourite grammy award youtuber
😁😁 right
“Regular chords”😂
lmao. it had me like "wtf, does this dude even know what he's talking about?"
The “skip x amount” formula had me as well.
Not only can you use extentend chords, you can also use more than 4 chords in a progression. Let’s get the music biz back on track.
That’s true it be sound selection as well u can have that same pattern in a different sound and it won’t hit the same
Please keep making these videos
you can also use this trick on your guitar if you want more expressive chord sounds, rather than plain old power chords
There is no “trick” here. 💀 homie didn’t sit down in the studio and think “man this needs a chord extension melody.” In reality chord extensions are much more than adding an extra note depending on the genre.
@@eedogabbai357 tf are you even saying dude, all i said was that you can use extensions on guitar chords to make them sound better, this video is clearly targeted towards people still learning and understanding how sht works
The reason this song sounds like this is because it has sound
Wait for real? I thought I was smelling it.
Wait maybe that's just me
This deserved a Sub
Idk why y’all mocking the words he used, for someone who doesn’t understand music theory, or most instrumental production, this video explained chord extensions pretty well for me!
🔥🔥🔥
You present the theory in such an interesting way. Great stuff!
Lmao without the sevenths it’s literally the theme from The Batman
when making 9ths make sure to add the 7th
You don't always need to unless you strictly want a 9th chord. I think the iadd9 sounds really beautiful on piano.
They're called suspensions
The sample came from looperman btw
I’m pretty sure synthetic made it from scratch, he has a breakdown video making the melody. Although a couple of uzi’s earlier beats were from looperman.
@@willislaflame4712 ^ yup he made it all on a live stream. Ion know who did drums on it or if synthetic put it on looperman but he made the loop on stream
no it didn’t lol
Bro didn’t double check his own work before uploading. A few errors you called a 9th a 7th 😂
Just explain music theory to people. It’s much more simpler
that's literally what this is, no?
@@earl0000 not even close. He doesn't explain the "why", just the "what", and still gets it wrong.
yeah, there are tons of youtube tutorials that explain what the fuck is the major scale and how you build chords from that, which is like the only thing you need to know for making music, the rest of theory is just icing on the cake
how did he do the kick ? it sounded off but not off at the same time
Wdym
@@Nokitron it's like a triplet kick when kick speeds up but when I tried it it sounded different
@@4ra4ra4ra try looking up jersey club kick pattern. That's basically it
jersey club kick pattern
This is not a good explanation of extensions
Wich app??
FL studio
Not a app it’s a software for windows/mac
im so glad i learned music theory, this is just horrible 😭
Reminds me of something I heard in
A clock work orange movie
Lol 💯
Lol 💯
I still dont know, how do u count notes... I thought, u start counting from C, then - from base note, but what a hell...😀
nono that depends on the scale you're on. If you're in the Amin scale, then your 1st note is A and so on. Watch my video titled: all the music theiory a producer needs. there I explain scales and chords
@@theRedBowMusic thx, u r awesome)
bro u dont know what a scale is.
@@joeass2399 it's okay for the newbies to not know these things. They learn by asking questions. People with years of experience, however, is an ouch
my history teacher:
"Regular chords"🤣 dawg just learn music theory
6ths and 7ths aren't chord extensions they just aren't triads
7ths are extensions
look up extended chords
@@theRedBowMusic In music, extended chords are certian chords or triads with notes extended, or added, beyond the seventh. Wikipedia
@@Platinum_XYZ nah it becomes an extension when you venture out of the scale
@@xesbeats8180 Well you're completely right, thank you for letting me know!
Bruh when they making these beats they not thinking this hard
At all 😂
This must be a joke
first he said “skip 2” & so he did. He then says “skip 4” but skips 3?? How
Google triads
Because of music theory. There's a lot of resources online for beginner music theory, and I recommend reading on it, as it's foundational and required for success in music production.
Chord extensions elevate your Melodie's so much
That’s not a melody, that is the harmony, u said it urself ‘chords’
Am I the only one that thinks this song isn’t “great”? 🤷♂️
Basic D# triad...though won't gonna say much about I cause my concept of Keys with Accidentals are weak.
Synthetic himself showed the midi in a video and you still got it wrong
It's funny to hear people talking about cords and musical notes in a scientific. When you can sing or play piano or understand Harmony's within your head then you don't really think of it like this
that's not what a 6 chord is. a 6 chord is a first inversion
What’s a beat like this called based off the bass tempo?
bruh just learn basic theory. its free and not that hard
Are you saying that to me?
@@theRedBowMusic Not really cause you seem like you know your stuff
There's people who will watch and specifically avoid theory but basically learn an offbrand version
Skips video
9ths are also good as resolving chords
nice editing and information bro 🔥
This song isn’t great , honestly overhyped , I miss 2016-2017 uzi
This bro☝️🔥🔥ima try this later
Yes sir
Stop explaining what I had to figure out through endless nights of painful audio
this content is so helpful to those who have no talent and will never succeed
Internet Money posted a deconstructed vid on this
I thought wants and needs was boutta start playing stat the end with the 9th chord Lol
What the synt?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Badajadajahh
Yep yep love them extra notes and differences in chords
That sauce 🔥
I didn't know the sixth exist, thanks!
Bro doesent know music theory 😭
Wow thanks
Make blaxt type melody
When homie started counting note skips instead of just stating chord names or intervals I stopped listening 💀.
Basic music theory is not that hard to grasp and something anyone following these videos should be able to keep up with.
these videos sre made to be understood by people who dont know any music theory. I'm not trynna scare people off before they realize how useful it is
vertt is the goat
He didn't even make the beat
