I don't think there's a single person who saw this performance and walked away with anything but respect for Madonna.

Seeing this Mariah Carey disaster (one of many) last night you have to respect Madonna more. She had an ACTUAL technical difficulty where the costume was stuck and the dancers did their job and she was yanked down A FLIGHT OF STAIRS and did she complain or throw a tantrum or blame anyone or walk off? No, she just went on and killed it. True pro.
For her tour she also got kicked in the face and was literally bleeding and performed the show (with heavy choreography and even dancing on a CHORD) and still carried on.. 53 at the time. That's why I support Madonna
I doubt she would ever say that even for controversy. Everything was suppose to flow accordingly, but somehow the knot on the cape wasn't untying and her dancers didn't know. They were doing what they were getting paid for.. they also looked concerned for her, but she got up and basically said "Let's do this."

The way she just stood up and kept going was so amazing, but of course the general public and the media made fun of her instead of commending her. I love that she has it on her official channel, she’s owning it. Queen of everything.
I'm really shocked. She fell brutally but it wasn’t the reason to give up. She kept going till the end and she finished bravely. This is an example of perseverance. Thank you Madonna for teaching us one more lesson.

Seeing this Mariah Carey disaster (one of many) last night you have to respect Madonna more. She had an ACTUAL technical difficulty where the costume was stuck and the dancers did their job and she was yanked down A FLIGHT OF STAIRS and did she complain or throw a tantrum or blame anyone or walk off? No, she just went on and killed it. True pro.
For her tour she also got kicked in the face and was literally bleeding and performed the show (with heavy choreography and even dancing on a CHORD) and still carried on.. 53 at the time. That's why I support Madonna

They were doing what they were getting paid for.. they also looked concerned for her, but she got up and basically said "Let's do this."
This moment was the definition of ICONIC. It was also the most surreal thing I’ve seen on live tv. I was absolutely gagged.

I honestly think this is one of her best performances and the fall actually makes it even more iconic because even though she got knocked down, she got back up again and continued to give the performance everything she had. It actually gives the lyrics of the song more meaning. Say what you want about her but there’s no denying this woman’s inner strength courage and talent.
