I’ve built my base under the ocean at a depth between layers -40 and -55. I’ve been reinforcing it, and everything works fine, but there’s one problem. Zombie villagers have a 5% chance to spawn instead of regular zombies, but despite spawning around 40 zombies, none of them have been zombie villagers.
I think the issue might be because I’m underground, or maybe the server has reduced the spawn chance for zombie villagers. In my previous base (before it got raided), I managed to get villagers using this mechanic, but I did it on the surface and then transported them to my base. This time, I’m trying to get zombie villagers to spawn directly inside my base. The area is about 100x100 blocks with no light, so mobs can spawn.
I’ve already spent around 5 hours on this, but I haven’t managed to get even one zombie villager. Please help me-I really need your assistance!

@@kostas5306 i did classic with anti spider carpets and fall tube, which occasionally gets some zombie villagers. From what I've experienced, spawning rates are much lower to prevent lag, but I did get the zombies in boats before i built the spawner i think. I kinda built everything into that base lol, shame it got griefed
