I couldn't watch you guys talking about Dr. Pal this way, he is not forcing anyone to stop eating, he is educating us to watch what we eat, in my opinion, he is Awesome!!!, he is a Gastroenterologist, he is not saying things just to create content for his youtube videos, but watching his videos helps people to understand and awareness more about gut health!

I love your videos and like Dr. Pal too. I believe Dr.Pal was trying to make a sarcastic comment. The fiber equivalent in our south indian diet is poriyal which you cannot find in most restaurants. May be if we demand poriyal in appakadai they will start making it too.

Great fan of dr pal,followed his intermittent and reduced 5 kg easily .please don’t discourage people who follow him ….if u don’t want to follow u can just not follow him ….and not put his effort down to educate people …I wanted to tell u because u r all influencer so please don’t discourage people who felt his effort working
I’m not discouraging him. This means you did not understand what I said & meant. I am disagreeing with him on one of his statements.
Don’t think appakadai is a place for salads
Dr. Pal did not say eat salad all life but as long as you are an active person you can eat a little dosa or briyani. This is true of many people who are healthy. They don’t share that knowledge with you but that’s the truth. I know many healthy people who do some exercise every single day and eat a balanced diet which could include a bit of briyani, aapam, rice etc. they avoid briyani and friend food or even sweets.
Many Indians have bad eating habits - especially eat carbs late night. That’s a disaster for life!!! For a healthy life - which means not relying on heavy medicines or others for help - one must eat a balanced diet and also exercise!!!!

Kindly make sure you atleast warm it or bring it to room temperature before consuming.

Thanks for being the voice of reason. You're absolutely right about the gentleman's specific statement that creates a bad relationship with food in addition to being unsustainable. I don't think people understand the gravity of such sweeping statements, it has created eating disorder in millions of people. Moreover people cannot be objective - disagreement isn't an insult. Above all, kudos to you for dealing with distasteful comments with so much grace.

I even had the same thoughts as yours with Dr Pal’s video. He is growing his business so he needs to speak on stuffs which can catch a lot of audience. I totally disagree with him mentioning pasta , rice , noodles as junk.

😂 Sainthavi .. same feeling here … Appakadai - salad 😅sapppa I can’t watch that whole video … he can go to any American restaurant and eat salad there even 2 bowls.. who cares.. we are in mid west and me& my hubby used to see your videos and say .. just we should travel to Sainthavi place stay some where close to these restaurants for a day or 2 then we should try all these food.. & should come back

You will start caring for Dr Pal after you get health issues like diabetes, HTN, coronary artery disease aka heart disease..t he n you can come and bad mouth about him. There is a reason why he shot up to fame so quickly in 1 year from just 100 k subscribers to 2 million plus...just shame on all of you who eat everything which walks , swims and crawls without knowing how much damage all these do in the longrun...good luck shaming a highly skilled talented professional..

Only one life to live, enjoy eating. Just cut the portions to increase metabolism. Anything greesy is bad food, junk food chips, Idili is cooked by steaming: more healthier than Dosa,as we use oil, pam or ghee. Fish can be cooked differently. Put banana leaf, put a spoon of coconut oil and place the fish and close with a lid. So eating fish and some steamed asparagus, beans, broccoli, carrots etc..is healthier. Finish dinner by 7pm. Great discussion. 👍

Fish slow cooking in banana leaf tastes better than frying or baking. That masala makes it soft and delicious 😋

Certain foods are really bad only. Why do we have problem labeling this? Dr Pal and his wife have gone through a lot..of health issues .they have practised and then now they are preaching..

@@dharanidharani5623 You cannot eat any type of rice in N.America everyday. That is carb overload. We live a very sedentary lifestyle. I haven't seen them both workout or ever talk about fitness. But how can they criticize a doctor who is encouraging people to eat better. If I don't agree with his perspective I will ignore and take what i Can. But mocking him because these guys feel triggered is so bad. If we even follow half the stull Dr Pal says we can live better, there is no need to mock someone's video saying he is out of ideas. We all know how much he could potentially earn as a gastroenterologist in USA. He sees people all the time who have poor health, he talks about improving general health. Has he ever asked a penny for what he has suggested? He is funny and expands beyond his job to educate people. These guys don't want to encourage that. These guys are so full of themselves.
