I love how this lively audience is from 1986. Every time they laugh I smile thinking about how they are all in good old 1986!! Wish I could join them!!! You can have 2023, I’ll take 1986 by a long shot.

It's wild to me that the Egyptians (eventually) came to admit that the Lord had the Hebrews and were fighting for them, YET never had the though of alliying with the Hebrews and honoring the Lord with them. To me, you'd think experiencing all they had and seeing who the Lord is and what He is capable of, that they would have come to a realization that all their weaker (and non-existent) gods, magic, sorcery, etc didn't hold a candle to the unfathomable fire of the Lord. If only they had at some point called for Israel and asked to be shown God's ways that they may too worship Him in the same and enjoy His love and protections. Goes to show that "every tongue shall confess" whether or not the person wants to follow the Lord.
You see that today in science and academia, though... folks that admit that intelligent design had to be the means of origin, yet somehow want no part of being affiliated with the being and person behind all design and creation. I have to feel bad for these folks because they set themselves up for a life of hopelessness and misery, because the strictly sin-fallen and naturalistic world offers no hope... only the Lord holds the key to hope.

Yes, I share your amazement. I guess they are committed to their own autonomy in life, their own paradigm of reality makes more sense to them than the evidence before them. 1:00:22

Though, concerning Egypt, I believe it’s in Isaiah, though not certain, but they will call on the lord and be called the lords people. Interesting that you brought this up. If I find that section of scripture and teaching I’ll shoot back at you. Gob bless you friend.

      How’s this?
      Isaiah 19:19-25
In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the LORD at its border. It will be a sign and a witness to the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt. When they cry to the LORD because of oppressors, he will send them a savior and defender, and deliver them. And the LORD will make himself known to the Egyptians, and the Egyptians will know the LORD in that day and worship with sacrifice and offering, and they will make vows to the LORD and perform them. And the LORD will strike Egypt, striking and healing, and they will return to the LORD, and he will listen to their pleas for mercy and heal them.
In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and Assyria will come into Egypt, and Egypt into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians.
In that day Israel will be the third with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, whom the LORD of hosts has blessed, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance.”

For those wondering why the term armed could also mean columns of five: there are five fingers at the end of your arm. As the army marched to its objective the strong core would resemble an arm, those up at the front nearing their objectives could fan out with each of the five columns heading for a different goal.
