I did everything wrong lmao I sprayed them with an outdoor hose then let them sit in the sun to dry

i did this but then cork became sooo solid and dry :( how can i soften it like it used to be?
I suggest using a cork sealer. I personally use Kelly’s Cork Renew and the cork looks brand new.
This is very a very efficient method. I tried it with my Josef Siebel sandals and now they look very clean and smell very good.
It worked on my vegan birks
This is cleaning suede, not cork.
this has to be the reason why people wear socks with their birkenstocks. prevent stains!!!

Some of what looks like dirt is also just oils from your skin which is why it goes shiny and dark like that where you feet are in the shoe

just pour the sandals with coffee powder, it should be fine

I was wondering this exactly, I need to remove the toe print but I fear that it will be all dark
@@takapum dont do it, just wipe it with some cloth… i am planning to get rid of my cleaned birks cuz it smells bad now.. :(
