I agree. I watched Lolita & Charito in 1979 in the stage play, " Larawan". I was in awe of their performance as Paula & Candida, 2 spinster sisters from Nick Joaquin's famous work " A Portrait of the Artist as Filipino." I'm now living here in the SF Bay Area. Memorable and endearing time.

Lolita Rodriguez and Charity Solis are my favorite drama stars when I was a child. My Auntie Puring looks like Lolita and I always tell her. I used to fix her hair and she got her own room and nice things a young lady would like. But nobody courted her and she end up a spinster. Her standard is so high. She studied to be a lawyer but end up in govt employee on legal court department.
