After seeing this video I ended up ordering one on Amazon and I am SO GLAD that I did, having tons of fun with it, only issue is that dashing in fighting games seems more difficult but overall I haven’t had any issues, it even connects to the switch without needing a pro controller or joycons

I see a lot of potential here. The Switch has a ton of great arcade ports and this kit takes advantage of that. Also, just like Arcade 1-Ups, the Switch is going to get a hardware upgrade someday and this is a great way to repurpose your G1 Switch.

You get one of those extension outlets with a primary and secondary outlets so if the A1up is in the primary slot it will turn on and off anything attached to the secondary outlets when you switch to slider on the panel. I use one on my xbox and MAME arcade to power everything together and turn off together. They are called smart strips

The idea is pretty cool, but I'm not sure I'd want to play the Switch on a 4:3 screen. I'm also a bit confused by the need for Bluetooth connectivity, when the review clearly shows that the control panel's connection isn't as good as other Bluetooth Switch controllers. Given that you have to wire the Switch into the cabinet anyway by HDMI, they might as well use a USB connection to make it more stable.
I'm definitely interested in checking out the NES version.

I got one and installed it in my Gen1 Pacball not realizing I would need to rotate the screen and adjust the bevel but before I did all of that I was playing some Star Wars Pinball in vertical mode and noticed that there was a lot of sound drop out as I played. I even switched out the HDMI cable with a high quality one and it was still happening…have you had any issues with sound drop out on this device? Yes the only function i forgot to cover 😉 The volume is the same as the gen1 cabs. 3 settings, off, low and high but it suffers the same problem as those gen1 and is a bit too loud even on the low setting. I recommend leaving the cardboard cut outs for the speaker holes on the deck artwork to reduce the sound levels.

And their tech support says there's no way to fix it. The other downside is that it's all via these Bluetooth dongles when there are clearly USB 1-player and 2-player ports built in (but no way to switch them to work with your given device). Lastly, we could do without the faux woodgrain edge and cheesy cardboard covers.
