They showed his lackings, his understanding of his situation, displayed his inner turmoil followed by a reinforced resolve. And kept it evident in future timelines. You actually see his growth to a point they don't seem like the same person, yet when you read his story, you feel the experience he went through to change into the way he is.

Yeah they have to cut some of that for pacing of the show… I was hoping they left in the dialogue about the lizards and cutting their tail off…that was a key piece to this whole sequence in the manwha
This episode/chapter is pivotal as it sets it apart from a lof other power fantasy genres. Sung Jinwoo might have an insanely overpowered ability, but the dreaded realization that his new powers are not truly his own, and there is something greater essentially using him as a pawn with the system to is such a great twist on the genre, and it also creates an amazing mystery on where it will lead to and how Jinwoo will procede with his powers.
