The best way to "deal" with the nasty B7 is to practice it as follows: Start with an A major chord using fingers 2, 3 and 4 obviously all in fret 2. Finger 2 on the D string, finger 3 on the G string and finger 4 on the B string. Now just spilt the fingers up. KEEP finger 3 on the G string but move finger 2 to the A string and finger 4 to the thin E string. Next bring finger 1 onto fret 1 of the D string. Sometimes it helps to start with an easy and familiar shape in order to learn a harder and unfamiliar one.
