Hey Nicole just wondering if you and your husband are fishing guides? My wife and I messaged you a couple years ago to ask questions about ice fishing in lake of the woods. We also asked you questions about the DSG clothing you wear. I’m trying to find a good guide to go out with soon for walleye and crappie mixed bag full day
It is strange how here in OH I go to our deepest lake at night where it drops off to 100 feet deep in October when it starts to cool off at night and using a glow bobber and a jig tipped with a minnow, I set the bobber 2 feet deep to 1 1/2 feet deep. The bite usually stays on until about 11:00pm It helps greatly if there is a slight breeze but I'll still jig it a little. Here in Ohio the black crappie bite at night and the white ones bite in the daytime. Here, the white crappie are generally smaller.
Perfectly timed video. Was searching for some crappie how-to when your channel came up. I'm in central MN and don't usually go after crappie, but the weather will cooperate the next few days so out I go. You just hooked another sub.
My kids got me a fishing journal for ice fishing sever years ago and it is kind of cool to track how fishing conditions are on our local lakes.
That's so awesome, and honestly SO beneficial. No better way to learn.
Awesome video, really liked how you broke it down on the movement and timeline when, and how they go back and forth. I didn’t realize that 👍🏻
Glad you found it helpful!

Thank you for your videos! I love crappie fishing! What reel do you use with the St Croix rods?
I've been using the Pflueger Presidents, however, just picked up a few Piscifuns to try!
Nice job
Thanks!
Would it be possible to go fishing with you sometime?
Possibly! I dont' really do the guiding thing, only occasionally.
@@NicoleStoneOutdoors well it would be an honor. Let me know how we could. Not for guide just for fun catching feeesh.
