This vid really helped me relax about how many resources to use and how much of a workload to work with while also studying for block exams! Using RX and UWorld for practice Q, anki, and then using your mistake catching system sounds like a win. Thanks for all the great advice!!
Glad you liked the video!

Thanks for the comment Michael!
Wow! Awesome!
Glad you enjoyed the video

The change to a pass fail system is a huge boon to US med students. The ones who will have difficulty are the IMGs, who are able to use a higher exam score to qualify. Now, besides step 2, the weight of the applications will go to things like research, which is not heavily done in many countries esp third world countries where resources and access to making high quality research are far less.
I agree for the most part. But at the same respect - now as an IMG you can focus on one exam to do really well on vs. two.
I want to be an anesthesiologist and was told the higher your step 1 score the better your chances of getting into an anesthesiology residency. Now that it’s pass/fail how would that work and what would determine how you match residencies?
U r a excellent teacher
Great video👍
Glad you liked it :)
I'm 15 weeks out to test day, and I'm so glad I found this video! Thank you for amazing content!
Best of luck on your test!
@@TheMDJourney Thank you!!
Thanks for the video, but where do I start. I’m starting to study for step 1 in md3 but I don’t know what subject/system should I start with? Should I start revising anatomy then micro etc or randomize it?
Studied biochem,Anat, Physio pretty well in preclinical years, but didn't practice any questions. Now starting STEP1 prep, should I dive into practice or study/watch videos again a little bit?
PS: I have Amboss.
Can i get a strategy from day one? Like how many months would it take me for step 1 starting from scratch. My basics(anatomy, physio, bio etc) are weak but clinicals are very strong. Which subjects do i start with
Did you use a q bank only during dedicated phase for Step 1 or a q bank throughout 1 st and 2nd year? If you did ,what q bank did you use?
Thank you….😇
Of course!
Can you give other alternatives than Anki I’m really not a fan
Amazing video
Glad you liked it!
Great 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
If usmle is only pass/fail now then how will we get residenc match? When a large number of students manage to pass it, what will be the deciding factor now?
Secondly I am in my first year if medschool plz suggest some strategies for preparation as this stage because you know I just started, it's all new for me. What will be helpful for me at this initial stage?
I know that your video is Sponsored by Picmonic but for me that Tool makes me Sleep while studying
I have done ufap and bnb. I am revising. Currently in dedicated period . Kindly advise.
This is amazing.. Can I email you I have a question?
How would u take notes from videos especially finding what’s important. My classes are own pace which means I’m on my own. Any advice
It's like taking notes in class from lectures or from a book - take notes on what the source stresses is important to understanding the concept and what you think is important for understanding.
I like to annotate while listening and then create a list of the concepts taught in the video (ie. Pathophysi, symptoms, diagnosis, management) and then I come back on a scheduled basis and test how well I can teach it on a whiteboard.
Great video
I have a question , is there any recommend schedule to use it through our study
Sometimes I recommend a quick purchase of cramfighters to allow scheduling and adjustment
Thank you for video bro ❤can you guide us how to get observe ship for free😅
I need tutoring
What is a 197 percentage wise correct .
Do we get the same marks as we are getting in usmle rx . Or we will be getting more in exam
Hi sir how much time will it take for step 1 preparation
Can I pass in 6 weeks?
Kaplan or bnb for those with poor basic knowledge....
I've seen that students have seen better results with BnB
get tot he damn point dude
👍
I heard Indian students won’t be able to give usmle from 2024 becus of the new changes coming that year I am already scared of usmle since it’s next to impossible but is my dream really demotivated because of the changes coming on top of that 😔
If you have already joined medical college..get ecfmg certified and you will be good to go..if not, consider studying medicine in countries where colleges are wfme certified..
Also I have known that even if you've atleast 'applied' for ecfmg certification before 2024, it should be enough
