The dude is an absolute shell of his former self character-wise and I can bet many other guys out there feel the same since they can't just do what they know would work.

I seen dean live last night at a house event, his match against bray Wyatt was pure magic. I enjoyed it so much. When Luke Harper started attacking dean with ref busy ,the roof popped off the arena when James Ellsworth came out to "somewhat" save him. I even got his autograph.
I genuinely thought WWE was going to go down the "look at Mick Foley in Japan" route for Ambrose v Lesnar, especially after Foley and Funk were both passing the torch to him in their backstage segments. If they'd shown Ambrose's garbage-wrestling past (even with black-and-white pictures if need be) in the same way they highlighted Mick's death-match past in Japan for the run-in to Royal Rumble 2000, then (and this is the important part) followed up on in the match itself, the bout could have been epic in scale.
