The introduction - starting from Holidays through properties to Chinese New Villages were all seamlessly expressed and have a continuous and yet jovial introductory to the Sungai Way Food haunt episode. The food as introduced were classics found at Food court and I could not help but give my complimentary comment to the Yong Tau Foo sellers ( as they really make it on the go ) using the type of fish good for YTF. The rest were also looking as tasty as ever . Again - thank you Elmo for showing us this Sungai Way episode and to me it's Yatt Lau ! Mou Tak Deng !!! 👌👌👌
In the 70s-early90s, I used to stay in Sungai Way as near my workplace. There is a famous claypot rice along the main road. Ya, most of the food stalls handed down from generations ie prawm mee, wanton mee, etc....fond memories...🤤
Elmo, you did a good research on Sg Way. Many years ago, a couple of my classmates were from Sg Way. We used to loiter around the present Sunway area, which was a former tin mining area to Sg Way. It was very basic n u cannot find so many food stalls back in the 50's. Elmo thank you for bringing back memories. History n food culture interweaved together brings you endless stories. Keep up your research part. Thanks.
I did not knew Sg Way has this foodcourt that serves these great food ! I usually pass by there as a means of short cut plus parking was a bit difficult . But seeing the food you presented , i must say they look very authentic in taste . A place that i might seriously consider checking out ! Thanks Elmo !
I love hawker food, for the variety and ambient! Sadly, not many food court in place where I am living now. Miss KL or Klang Valley merely for the reason of hawker stalls are aplenty over there.
I will only stay in area where 1. Kopitiam is within walking distance. The more the better 2. Mrt/lrt is within walking distance. Definitely no toll only access township....been there, done that...
Maestro E L ! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 for another excellent video . How do you manage to sample so many different dishes in such a short time 🤔 . I truly am in awe of how hard these stall owners work .
Hi Elmo, just a suggestion..maybe you could tell audience how to get there if there ok public transport, where you park your car if your drive there...example Sg.way market area is very difficult to get a public parking slot. Just my 2 cents..
There's actually an open space carpark nearby, but you have to pay like rm2 ~ 5 cant recall the exact amount. If the market is on your left, turn right n head up and you'll see it.

Thanks to you, i think i have found the kelana jaya prawn noodles

@@malaysiafood328 Thanks

I see that MahSing failed to bring up the image of sungai way when they built Icon Pj there...
What a waste.
Oh yes that was a major failure
Chee cheong fun is no longer tasty as back in the 90s. The gravy now very starchy. I grew up in ss3 and studied at the chinese school back in 70s
Perhaps cutting corners
Never been there this new food court,is this place near to motorolla, will give it a try if nearby there.
