Crazy Horse was a great leader he despised alcohol and knew it would bring great harm to his people. The Lakota people are much more highly respected around the world than they realize, the young people of Pine Ridge need to get their message out.

How can outsiders help ? If I offer my help even though on my birth cerficate it say I am white, i have cheorkee blood running through my veins. I have watch alot of youtube videos, about the Lakota people and what they are facing. I have listen to the documentary, that Russel Mean has on youtube. I myself am in poor health and living on disability benefit and don`t have much, but if I can help with even the little Donation or spend a little time talking with someone or just listening to them.

What on the whole the elder ones on this clip said is a grand credit to the nation living on Pine Ridge.
For I do not know many elders in my culture (Middle European) who would admit they have been the wrong model for the younger generations, which they -I must say- mostly truly have. I'm so aware of our generation's flaws, many of my age are, I'm sure, but there is still a long way to go till the sincere humility of some white people is reached. Anyhow, I'm joyous some of you are ahead!

A few of these people i know in this video are my friends and i come from the Pine Ridge resrvation and those of you who dont and want to make assumptions, live there all your life , then you have room to talk until then keep the sterotypes and the bible out of it please. Our peole came from uncimaka from the womb of the cave. we have our own creation story and i dont appreciate anyone trying to incorporate the bible in it. so please yes do your research please before you speak.

the only way to fix this is by everyone reconnect themselfs with their spirits and the creator because it always began from the inside before it came on the outside world its not going to change differently. youre own spirit has all the knowledge the elders have how do you think they gained the knowledge they have in the first place. i am young but i tell you this. Spirit is knoking on the doors, soon the doors will be taken away. if you question the past watch what were learning right now

u need more then being positive. you guys are actively targeted by the government and its laws to keep you from deciding your own choices in what you can and cant do on your own land. you need lawyers to help you.

the only way is protest just like how the black people did it. its the most painful way of course. black people had to stop going to work, go without days for food be ridiculed and its tiring but the results are worth it. this might sound dramatic but like the girl said the sundance was really important because its a day in the hot sun without food or water for their ancestors. well why not do it for their descendants and their future?
