I was at this event and it was a show it was great to see Randy's father there "BRAD BRADFORD" and spending the afternoon hanging out in between rounds , Randy and Brad were racing nitro Altered's in the 60's until Randy got drafted for Vietnam but got back safely to eventually build and race again !
Hi Larry! I’m glad to have stumbled across some “recent” work from you. Miss the old website and the access to what I’d guess was only the tip of the iceberg of all the documentation and media of drag racing in the Pacific Northwest. I’m sure that we’ve rubbed elbows in the past, as I announced for Portland and Woodburn for quite a few years, also bouncing around with AA/Supercharged “gasser” group. I grew up hearing Denbo( who got me in), worked with Wong, Gohs, Bob Fry, and many others. I’ve always been curious if you had any more photos of a particular fuel altered named Satans Toy. Dad purchased the chassis in the late 70’s and made it in to 340 powered bracket car while still retaining the original setup beauty. The one and only photo that I’ve ever seen of it as a AA/FA was on HRH. Here’s a link to a copy of it. instagram.com/p/Bvv9TJ7nvOm/?igshid=lm2x4sftexe3 Also curious if our previous racecar was something that you had photographed or if it rings any bells. It was an English Ford Esquire or Escort called the Chimp-a-Go-Go that ran at Portland in the 70’s. The name was earned. Occasionally dad ran the car with me in the passenger seat and a chimpanzee named Candy in the back hanging onto bars. On the return road we’d get offering of bananas tossed from the stands. Those were the days! instagram.com/p/_7Iw8KAX9i/?igshid=ig52k9tbamyj instagram.com/p/_7IoVbAX9L/?igshid=18sko3emdgrws If either car rings a bell of gold in the archives, I’d love ya to death and pay you accordingly. Thank you for all of your work over the years! Steve Entler

Hey Larry,
I am hoping you have some videos of my fathers old nova. If you could helpmeet out let me know! Thank you.
Since when can't a guy stage his own car? All the drag videos seem to have a "helper" out there doing all kinds of nonsense.
