this is what I wished more people understood. the length of soap operas can be both a blessing and a curse. You can grow old with the characters but at the same time writers and producers constantly change and actors come and go for the sake of their careers. They basically rewrite characters and keep their names.
Jax was so good to Brenda. And so sweet back then before all these women ruined him over sonny. I don’t believe for one second that sonny loved Brenda. Jax really loved❤️ Brenda. With out Complications baggage or ultimatums!!!! Jax was so Comforting even tho she left him for sonny. I Agree💯 Brenda you&Jax were the real deal .
don't know what the writers or Vanessa were going through specifically throughout 1997, but her entire storyline after Sonny left her this time was just...acting alchemy for her. She did so amazing, and sold every moment. She was absolutely fantastic from 1997-1998. She should've won an Emmy in 1998.

Jax loved Brenda and wasn't looking to take anyone's place regardless of what Sonny fans claim. Jax came to Brenda's side because he was concerned for her and loved her selflessly.
