Love love love your videos! You give such great advice! I just started university this year and I'm keeping all of your points in mind as preparation for med school applications! You seem very knowledgeable and kind. I'm certain you'll be a wonderful doctor!! Keep it up, Shaman!
I don't have any interviews coming up for a long while but you're awesome so I watch all your vids. 😂 I'm glad someone agrees that online advice isn't always accurate. It's kinda like how people still use Wikipedia when writing papers lol!
You're right online advice sucks. It's like the liberals who actually believed that the wage gap was affecting citizens when they could have just looked up the equal rights act of 1963 xD or when people trust the messages of buzz feed and CNN without observing entire videos rather than clips or actually reading the laws being passed.
Deez Nuts1488 yes online advice can be skewed for sure. What you're talking about sounds more like political preference as well as only viewing one side of the argument. I'm taking a social injustice course right now and I totally get what you mean. We never get to read the other side of the argument. I'm a firm advocate against sexism and am writing my term paper about it but even scholarly research about it is skewed because it's all bound in social psychological theory! It's hard to say your opinion nowadays when it's not 100% left. I'm not a conservative either but I try to see both sides of every argument and I'm glad that you do as well. It means you're a well educated and open minded person. :)
Deez Nuts1488 thank you so much! That's what I need to hear after a tough week haha. If only medbros could be my friend irl he seems like such a cool guy. People with a low stress level always calm me down. 😅
i really hope that my grades will be worthy to get me called in an interview :'( I'm trying so hard Also, thanks for these videos Shaman, you're very concise I love that and your jokes
You can compliment their stuff instead of how they look if you don’t wanna seem flirty lol. I have done that with a professor. We used the same writing utensil! ✏️
Thank you. This has been very insightful. Would appreciate if you make a more comprehensive video about interviews especially tips on MMI if you had previous experiences.
Honestly, I think that you are an inspiration to many of us. I greatly appreciate all of the information that you have shared in this video as well as on other videos. I would greatly appreciate it if you could make a video where you talk about the extracurriculars you have done throughout undergrad, and tips for time management. Please like the comment if you agree with me and want a video of what I stated :). Thank You :)
I'm still in high school and want to know the steps you personally took to get into med school. Like did you major in biology and what else you went to school for this would really help give me an understanding of becoming a doctor in general. Thanks for the consideration very helpful videos lol I always watch the full ad 👌🏽👌🏽
Thank you sooo much for the video! It was extremely helpful! Just to let all other aspiring medics know, there is an annual event called POTMED held at Imperial College London. A friend recommended it as he attended and found it extremely useful - they read through personal statements, held mock interviews and even went through ethical scenarios. Here’s the website if you lot want to check it out: muslimmedics.co.uk/potmed/ Hope this helps you guys!
Hey Shaman, finally i subscribed to something that is logical and helpful. in your intro you have written that you have posted videos on how to succeed from school to med school, so my question is how can i find those videos on scoring high in high school.
+Tenshi Animations Hi there! Thanks for subscribing! My channel has lots of advice such as my how to take notes video and straight A's video that applies to all school levels including high school but I'll also be making videos specifically for high school in the future so stay tuned!
can you do a video on why medicine question in the interview process and how to answer a question on why your grades were poor initially without sounding like you're making excuses. Thank you so much and love your short but informative videos. Keep it up and good luck in med school!
I was contemplating if I should make a video about the preparation before med school interviews and what I did. If there is interest I can make the video for sure!
I am sure everyone will be interested as the Interview process is if not the most important and decisive part after your MCAT and GPA's are reviewed. going to be looking out for it and keep it up, these vids are very helpful!
It all depends on the school! Some schools have 1-2 longer interviews and some have many (like for example 8) small interviews. Usually its 1 interviewer, but sometimes there's more.
' if he's dashing, he's dashing right' LMAOOO
Basically, treat them like a person but at a professional level.
We love your point about standing your ground and pricing a counter argument. Keep up the great videos, Medbros!

Hi Shaman. I'm wondering if showing leadership skills & activities is as important to getting into med school... thoughts? thanks!
Can you do a video on the EC’s and programs that u were in?
Thank you sooo much for the video! It was extremely helpful!

How did you prepare for your interviews?
I was contemplating if I should make a video about the preparation before med school interviews and what I did. If there is interest I can make the video for sure!
MedBros PLEASE DO
I am sure everyone will be interested as the Interview process is if not the most important and decisive part after your MCAT and GPA's are reviewed. going to be looking out for it and keep it up, these vids are very helpful!
+MedBros please do this
Can you tell us how YOU prepared for your medical school interview, please?
+najiwa amir Yes definitely will make a separate video in the future specifically about what I did to prepare for and during my interviews.
Omg tomorrow is my interview for medicine. So nerve-racking....
How many interviews are there ? & how many people interview you
It all depends on the school! Some schools have 1-2 longer interviews and some have many (like for example 8) small interviews. Usually its 1 interviewer, but sometimes there's more.
MedBros ohh okay thank you 🙌🏽
MedBros do you do a lot of speech classes & do you present in front of the class a lot ??
nice flowers
Can I be you 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Thank goodness for your videos
