From what I can gather the earbuds themselves, don’t actually have any built-in translation functionality. All of the translation functionality is done through the application, but after using the application, I would not recommend it. If you do want to use the earbuds for translation. I would recommend using a different application something like the Google Translate application.
Yeah, I do not know where a few people said these were marketed as translation earbuds because the listing that I have just marketed them as open ear workout earbuds with really good sound quality volume and base and really good overall battery life there’s no mention of built-in translation features or anything like that That’s why I said if you can provide me with the translation application or a link to these earbuds, be marketed as translation earbuds that would be greatly appreciated because the link that I have there’s not market these as having a key feature towards translation. But if there’s a translation companion application and it does work with these, I will take a look at it if you can provide me a link for it but other than that, if you’re looking for a pair of earbuds for translation, I would say you may want to go with something like the Google pixel buds Preferably the Google pixel buds Pro or pro two those have built-in translation features.
Those videos are coming. They are going to be a microphone test so you can get to hear how the microphones perform in quiet and noisy environments. There’s going to be a fit and sound demo so you can get to see how the earbuds fit and how they may potentially sound and leakage at full volume and then in the full review, I will go over all of the button controls the battery life the charge times the price in my opinions on the sound quality volume base build material so on and so forth I’m sorry for the delay. I am currently taking a short break right now and video production will begin again in February.
How do these things actually work? I have a pair, downloaded the app, and nothing. It shows translation on my screen, but there is no sound thru the buds. At this point, I'm just trying to use them for music. Zero success with that, too. 😮💨
I'm actually on break for the holidays and New Year and I was going to cover these starting in February with some other stuff I wanted to take a look at but I know these come in two different variants. The variant that I got however does not have a companion application and I just paired it up to my device like a regular pair of Bluetooth earbuds and it's been working pretty fine. I connected it to my Android device and I also connected it to my iPhone and the only real issue that I have is that the charging case only really gives me one full additional charge. But what I would recommend is that you delete the application and just pair them up as if they're a regular pair of Bluetooth earbuds and see if that fixes the issue.
@@tandraneadavis-johnson1553 Once the app (IA Cool) is downloaded and you are connected to Bluetooth, go to app and click on “binding device”. You will see the connect tab. You must scan the “device binding code” found on your user guide. Scroll to select appropriate language and you’re ready to roll. Hope this helps!
on the app go to the part that says simultaneous interpretation (multilingual) thats in orange and click on that and it will take you to the languages you want.
Thank you for that assistance. This pair of Bluetooth earbuds is actually slated to be the last set of earbuds that I cover starting in February on the tail end so I’ll definitely see if I can download this app connected to the earbuds and then do a full application walk-through thank you in advance for sharing this. I really do appreciate it
OK, I need somebody to do me a big favor and give me the link to the translation application because I couldn’t find it. I did a few hours of research yesterday couldn’t find it and for my earbuds. It only has music mode gaming mode and sleep mode so there’s no translation mode for me, but everybody is saying there’s a companion application that unlocks the translation features, but I could not find the application and I’ve been doing a lot of research so if someone could find me or provide me with the link to the application, I’ll be more than happy to do a walk-through of the entire app and show everyone how to use the translation features. I just need to get access to the application to do so.
@kristinpylesfil4909 I was looking through the Play Store the other day and I couldn't find it. You wouldn't happen to have the link for it. Would you if you can pull it up on the Play Store? You can click share and just share the link. I would appreciate that
@kristinpylesfil4909 wow! Okay so I found the application. I had to Google the name of the application and APK and then it popped up in the Google Play Store and after installing the app and signing in, only two things worked inside of the application. Everything else said I needed to bind my earbuds in order to enable the feature, but when I went to try and find my earbuds I didn't have a binding code and I looked through my user manual. I looked on the box that came with my earbuds. I even looked inside of my earbuds case. There were no binding codes so I couldn't get any of the features to work and I can't even delete my account that I made. It told me to put in my email to delete my account and it won't let me delete my account. Yeah don't use that. This app is horrible. If you really want translation features with your earbuds, I would suggest to use something like Google translate and do a live translation feature. Because this app is bad. I'm about to delete this and it's a good thing. I did not use my main email because I could not delete my account.
@@EricDrummondBPCP Eric, the binding code is the smaller sized scan code on the included instructions. It's a one time binding for the app use and they'll send you a code by email to input into the software.
@@kbomb743 well, I'm sorry to hear that because I did find the translation application but it kept asking me for a binding confirmation code which I couldn't figure out how to get and I believe that's because my particular pair of earbuds were not made for translation.
