I love jeopardy, but you gotta do it right. 1st, just for cohesions sake, gotta blank out the board when its been answered. Also, its tough to see the buzzer winner 2. Cant show the question on the daily double before wagerings 3. In final jeopardy, the contestants cant know the ammount wagered. Id love to see more, but just tweaked to the proper rules
Also, they mentioned how much of the game is buzzing in first. LOT of truth to that: if a player buzzes too early, they get penalized. Too late and, well, someone else got there first. So there is very much a sweet spot. I have two friends who competed on Jeopardy and they both said that was the hardest part of the game.
Need to clean this up. Jeopardy is fun, but this was a tough watch. And Zo can't compete with these two. Not to disrespect him, but their ball knowledge is 4x his.
in final jeopardy, the final answer (question?) begins by 1. revealing the category 2. they make their wager (hidden) 3. they see the clue 4. jeopardy music 5. they reveal their answers 6. the wager amounts are revealed and winner is declared
Final Jeopardy each player writes down their wager silently so the other players don’t know what the right strategy is so BBD had a bit of an advantage knowing Dalton’s wager before making his
I do love that we figured out that we needed to have the guys write down their final jeopardy answers, but couldn't think of having them write down their wagers lol
I love this. I just don’t understand why so many people do ___ Jeopardy and don’t follow like the 1 rule that makes it Jeopardy. You’re given answers so you have to respond in the form of a question. I know it’s silly but I do think adding that rule would make it better
@@cadenbrown8985 the whole point of the show they're copying. If your gunna do it do it right. its not like they dont have 10 other video types to be boring on.
There would be too many answers going null because of that. These guys haven't practiced jeopardy like people who do actual jeopardy. It would literally ruin the video.
@@WalkoffGrandslam after a few wrong they would catch on. BBD seemed to do just fine. What ruins the video is claiming jeopardy, stealing the game format and not playing by jeopardy rules.
I feel like this needs to be tweaked slightly. The question should be something like "This player wore #5 for the St. Louis Cardinals between whatever years". Plus you had a couple questions in the answer. So the answer to the question is a question 😂
Yes, I'm aware. But they put the "answer" as a question. So the dialogue basically looks like this. Q: "Who is Mariano Rivera?" A: "Who has the most career saves in the MLB?"
Great game - but the board needs work. Needs to close (dim) the ones already chosen and definitely NOT see the wager question before the wager is placed. And on the Final - you should give them a category for the question, before they wager. Thnx Gents ~
Love this as a new series BUT at 18 minutes, it's almost as long as a proper Jeopardy but with half the questions, so the pace should really improve (or the edit just needs to be tightened up). Otherwise, agree with a lot of the other comments, clean up the board, use the actual secret bid format of final jeopardy otherwise there's not much suspense. We know that JM is in the business of creating new formats that can be sold or licensed, so it would be good to get this to a closer approximation of what that could be (JM bringing back an official Sports Jeopardy with actual athletes as contestants, for example, would be compelling, if these types of series can be developed towards that goal)
1) How do you not dim the boxes that have already been chosen? It makes it impossible to follow along. 2) I can do w/out all the crosstalk. Just play the game, and leave the rest for before or afterward. To be fair, this is a problem w/ most every one of these game-type videos you guys make.
Ordinarly I would agree, since the thinking out loud thing is what kept me from ever enjoying Millionaire, but in the case of JM videos, the chatter is often some of the most entertaining parts of their games.
I normally like these videos but this was impossible to follow. I assume the guys playing are able to see which questions are left, the viewers need to be able to see it too.
The concept is there, but the execution fell flat. Couldn’t tell who buzzed. Couldn’t tell what question had already been answered. This has potential, but it needs to be cleaned up
NOBODY IS PLAYING BY THE RULES OF JEOPARDY DAMMIT!!! THE RESPONSES HAVE TO BE IN THE FORM OF A QUESTION! I'M UNREASONABLLY UPSET! Also please figure out how to eliminate the clues answered for better viewing. BUT IF ITS JEOPARDY, PLAY IT LIKE JEOPARDY DAMMIT! THE RESPONSES NEED TO BE IN THE FORM OF A QUESTION! GET. IT. RIGHT!
Holy shit I made this comment before the daily double showed up. HAVE YOU EVER WATCHED JEOPARDY BEFORE HOLY HELL. YOU CANT SHOW THE CLUE BEFORE THE WAGER HOLY HELL
Very frustrating video. You can easily find a working jeopardy board to use online. And give the boys dry erase boards so they don't have to announce their wagers. Keep it secret so there is strategy to the game.
fun video, but impossible for the viewer to tell which questions were already answered
It seems like they are unable to tell while playing as well
yeah, there must be better Jeopardy platforms out there
@@joshuabishop1343 They’ve literally done many of these with a different (better) platform. So idk why they did it like this lol
Just pay attention
@jrbehr4643 or they could just use one of the better platforms
You can’t show the question on the daily double before the wager!
not having the questions that are picked already go away is crazy
Edit: ok but that final jeopardy setup left me speechless

Who cares
that’s too much. a simpler version is enough
It’s so other participants don’t know how much each other wager. It’s an important part of the final jeopardy
Great idea for a video. Need to provide the category before the final jeopardy wager.
Why it didn’t matter

with how much trivia this page does, they really need to get someone better at quality control to run these
I LOVE Jeopardy please do more of these!!!!
lol you have to have them write down what they wage not say it out loud cause then there’s no stakes
Gotta make sure the full question is read out loud before the buzzer.

Love the jeaparody but yall need to watch BDGE to get the setup right they do a great job of making the viewership good
Good call on the Brewers. Marlins were his third team and Atlanta was his fifth. Padres were actually his second.
Good job BBD! BBD deserved to win since he was the only player to answer in the form of a question from the start.
Should make the contestants wait until the answer is read. The form of a question is arbitrary, doesnt bother me one way or another
Who can click the buzzer faster competition.
"Thome" is pronounced "Toe-me" not "Toe-may". There is even a clip where he says it.
Haha yeah, I figured he was just being folksy, sort of the way people pronounce the store Target as "tar-ZHAY" to make it sound fancier.
been waiting for this!!!
Final jeopardy you get the category before betting
This ought to be fun!
I definitely knew final jeopardy bc mlb the show has released two amazing Seager cards for his WS mvp lol
We did it boys

what is an answer in the form of a question?
