From this really lovely clip I would say what I have thought all along Gulf was the one who knew and went after what he wanted . He liked Mew for a very long time and I wonder if he was the first one to make the move towards being more to Mew. After all he made the first real kiss. Crafty Gulf lol. This is just my feelings people may or may not agree. Byt they make the world bright when they are together.
Gulf couldn't express himself in words the way Mew did 💐 But Gulf's strength is that he doesn't think too much. He didn't hesitate because he shut his head off and trusted his gut 💐

I know i am late but just watched this. I also think Gulf made the move to cement himself in Mew's heart, I think he even went so far as to free himself of any other attachment so he could be with Mew properly. (Breaking up with his girlfriend). Mew would have been much more careful after Art to get into a similar situation like that again.
Gulf is so cool 💐 He says himself that he doesn't think very much - but that was why he knew right away ☺️ Mew was still second-guessing, but Gulf trusted his gut and kept trying 💙

This was a cute video of MewGulf's earliest interaction. The TEP interview was iconic for so many reasons. Mew admitted having feelings for someone in his own personal interview but never used their name. If you connect the dots the only person he was talking to daily at that time was Gulf as they both were reading the book together in the evenings since they didn't have their scripts yet. Mew fell for him but was afraid to make the first move because of being hurt previously. Gulf is an introvert so it took Mew a while to break his walls down enough for him to have normal conversations that were not work-related. As for Gulf, he knew exactly who Mew was during the audition which is why he was caught staring at him in pictures. Gulf fell for Mew from the first time he laid eyes on him and took the brave step of kissing him for real in their 3rd workshop. It was from that kiss that Mew smiled and knew he had the green light from Gulf to make his move. I always believed Gulf fell first but Mew fell harder. ❤☀🌻❤
The way they behaved when they first met shows so much about their personalities 🥰

They actual said at the end of this interview that Gulf’s hands were sweaty and that’s why his answers always registered as though he was lying. . Patty (interviewer) even tried with sweaty hand and got a false reading saying that she was lying too.
