This song has resonated with me lately. As if I wouldn't have understood its deep tones without the experiences life dealt me; to see the scars left from my mistakes and losing someone so dear to me, yet finding acceptance with it all and bearing their wisdom given within my life. A dulled remorse, yet a serene peace with the resolved and unresolved, only knowing to move on if only to avoid living in the past. I'm still hurting, but I'm also healing as it were. Despite the turbulence that surrounds me, there is still the quiet that remains. Waiting for someone to come, but comfortable when it's just me there.
Accepting the transparency with myself.
Simply, a reflection of me.
